Dewpaw- formerly Dewkit- strided into what she knew was the apprentice den. However, once she was inside, the tan cat did not know what it looked like, or the general shape of it. The blind cat stepped foward, trying to listen to the echoes of her paws.
She could not hear echoes. Drat, Dewpaw really should work on that. For now, she had to find moss. That felt different from regular ground, she knew it.
Except Dewpaw didn't walk over moss while walking across the den like she knew where she was going. She ran, face first, into a wall.
Her brown face rang out it's complaint of pain, and she rubbed it, mumbling, "I should've walked around the den before deciding to make my nest..."

Palepaw wandered into his new den, following an apprentice named Dewpaw from what he knew from the ceremonies. He watched the fellow trainee slowly, watching her stumble around. He countined to make his nest, keeping his eye on the apprentice, noticing that her movements were like Dovepaws. He almost gasped when Dewpaw started running and ran face first into the den wall.
Ouch.
Palepaw rushed up and ran over to Dewpaw. He offered his paw to help her up. He gave a worried smile and mewed rather calmly, "You.... You OK?"

Dewpaw heard a voice from above her. There was a slight movement from beside her from that direction, and she deduced that someone reached their paw out to her.
Well. Great first impression, mouse-brain! Dewpaw rolled over, belly exposed to the air, and took Palepaw's paw in order to pull herself to her own paws. If she was right, the other apprentice would be a bit to her now left, and she turned, blind amber eyes wide open.
"I am now," She mewed, smiling, "Thanks for helping me up. Are you one of the new apprentices?" She tilted her head and curled her tail, hoping that this cat could see.

Palepaw laughed to himself at Dewpaw's actions, helping her up as she grabbed his brown paw. He watched as the she-cat turned and almost flinched as he saw the eyes of a blind cat, he felt like mentioning it, but he should answer the girl's questions first. "Your welcome, and yeah, Palepaw is my... new... name." He replied.
"So... there are more than just Dovepaw.? Being blind, I mean.."

Dewpaw nodded. "Pleasure to have a nice cat be a clanmate." Dewpaw mewed, before narrowing her eyes. "Too polite, maybe Eh. I'm Dewpaw." The tan cat mewed back, before listening to Palepaw's next words.
"Oh, you've met Doveki- Dovepaw before me?" Dewpaw mewed, smirk on her face, "yeah, I'm blind like her." Dewpaw purred amusedly, "now, uh. I would like a little help..." Dewpaw flicked her tail to her right, hoping she was pointing at the ground, "possibly making my nest to sleep in. Last time I tried, well."
Dewpaw put a paw right where her old scar was, which now has a slight bruise on it, "I ran into a wall, and it hurt."

Palepaw nodded to the blind Dewpaw, listening to her request. He looked at the bruise and sighed, "Sure, I'll help, and also hope to cloudclan that you don't get headaches." He said, nudging her to follow him over to a clear spot to lie down the moss. "Here's a free spot." He called to Dewpaw, now thinking how she got her name in the first place.

Following Palepaw's scent and voice, Dewpaw found a nice nest of moss, which was somewhat close to a wall, according to her whiskers. She turned around after situating herself on the nest, and lay down. The side of her face hurt a little, but she could deal. On the first day after being thrown out, I ran into a tree...
Dewpaw mewed, "Thanks, Palepaw." She opened her mouth in order to try and lodge Palepaw's scent into her head, blind eyes closing.

Palepaw smiled to Dewpaw, even though she wouldn't be able to see it. He was happy to help someone, it made him feel big and warm inside. "No prob, Dewpaw." He replied, gazing around for a place for him to settle. "Oh yeah, why is your name 'dew'paw?" He asked, padding towardsa clear spot nearby.

The tan cat sensed that Palepaw moved to her left, and turned her head towards that way to make sure her voice reached his ears. As soon as Palepaw asked her why her name was Dewpaw, indicating to the front of her name, Dewpaw frowned and tried to think of when she started to call herself Dew. She didn't really remember much of her house life, but she tried to reach back to then, too.
It wasn't from her kittypet life. It was from a few minutes after, when... Dewpaw's mind went blank, and her face scrunched up. "It's from when I was a loner," She mewed, "I don't know when I started calling myself Dew, but it happened at some point... and that's all I know." The tan cat shrugged her shoulders, "So, why are you called 'Pale'paw, then?" She asked, smirk climbing onto her face.

Palepaw nodded to Dewpaw, listening to her reason. It didn'tsurprise him that she was a loner, lots of cats in treeclan were adopted, he shrugged at the next question, looking at his fur. "I was born with extremely pale fur that's simply FABULOUS!" He joked, setting himself in his new nest.

Dewpaw let out a laugh, "Fabulous, you say?" She purred, amused, "I suppose that's what everyone thinks." The tan cat lay down in her new nest, one paw over the other. "This spot is quite comfy. Is that going to be your permanent spot, Palepaw?"

Palepaw laughed to himself, it was nice to have somebody to talk to for him. He looked at Dewpaw, shaking his head. "Probably not, I might move for some of my strange reasons." He replied, copying Dewpaws actions and lying down with one paw over the other.

The tan cat snorted, her smile widening on her brown face. Her tail attempted to reach her front paws, but they only really reached her back ones. "Strange, you say? Perhaps you shall, perhaps you shall not." Dewpaw giggled, "Well, are you excited for your training? I really need to know the territory, seeing as I'm blind and I'd rather not run into a tree..."

Palepaw felt like laughing at Dewpaws statement of training. "Eh, I'm excited for trainings but all I really want to see is the forest." Palepaw mewed, yawning to himself. He had always adored the forest, and will probably start taking daily walks.

Dovepaw nodded, smiling. "Yeah. The forest is pretty cool." She put her head on her paws, her thoughts drifting to her mother. Was she exploring the forest, now actually abandoned by her twoleg? "Perhaps I could laugh in my mom's face and say that I have grown up," the tan cat mewed quietly, tail moving quickly on the ground and showing her anger.
