A Lizard that Lost it's tail (private-Lostkit)

[Lizardeye]

Lizardkit wasn't tired (for once) so he decided to slither out of his nest. His tail was dragging on the floor for anyone to trip on.

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit padded into the nursery. she scanned the area before carefully starting to pick her way to her nest. she cautiously stepped over a long tail that was dragging on the ground. Upon further inspection, she noticed the tail was attached to another kit. "greetings in the warmest ways. what name belongs to you?" she asked chripishly.

[Lizardeye]

"Oh, I'm Lizardkit!" He turned around. "Whoa! Your eyes! They're so pretty!" Lizardkit distractly commented. "What's your name?"

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit giggled. This cat seemed very friendly. He also didn't question her speech, so that was a plus. "Gracious I am for your compliment." she said, smiling brightly with a dip of her head. "the name I have is Lostkit. Great to make your acquaintance it is" she flicked her fluffy tail happily, as she often did when she got excited.

[Lizardeye]

"Hey wanna play a game?" Lizardkit asked, excited to have met a new friend.

[Lostpaw]

"Play a game? never have I done that before" she said, a bit embarrassed. Most kits in this clan seemed to play lots of games, but she had never been invited to 'play a game' before. she was excited, nervous and curious all at the same time." but yes, sounds fun play a game i'd like." she said with a smile "what do we do?" she asked, saying probably one of her first 'normal' sentences.

[Lizardeye]

"We can play cat and squirrel," Lizardkit suggested. "I run and you chase me, when you catch me, I chase you and then when I catch you, you chase me, and it continues on until one of us gets too tired to play anymore. Sound fun?

[Lostpaw]

Lostkit smiled and nodded. it sounded like this game doubled as a way to learn to chase prey and gain stamina and speed. "very fun, hunter may I be first?" she asked, excitement shining in her bi-coloured eyes. she lied down and waited for lizardkit to either tell her torun or bolt off himself. this was so exciting!

[Lizardeye]

"Okay!" Lizard glanced at the odd-eyed kitten before running off, trying not trip over his own tail.

[Lostpaw]

lostkit giggled as he ran off and stood up. she waited a few heartbeats before dashing off after him, her fluffy white tail streaming out from behind her as she ran. she tried not to trip over anything, that would be embarrassing.

[Lizardeye]

To his dismay, Lizardkit did trip over his tail once or twice which made him lose a bunch of distance between him and his purser and forced him to raise his tail into the air, which to say the least was uncomfortable.

[Lostpaw]

lostkit almost skipped in delight when she realized she was catching up to lizardkit. She saw him stumble a few times before he raised his tail into the air. She almost giggled at how akward it looked, but she managed to keep her composure. it took awhile and a whole bunch of work, but she finally caught up to him fully. "gotcha!" she squeaked out happily as she tried to flicked him with her tail.

Lostkit had caught him! Lizardkit quickly turned around and attempted to take her by surprise and catch her before she got away.

Lostkit let out a 'mrrow!' of alarm as she saw lizardkit jump towards her. she just barely managed to through herself out of the way. She rolled paws over head and landed a few tail-lengths away. she laid on her stomach for a few heartbeats, sticking her tongue. she was completely covered in dust and grime! she made a mental note to groom herself later.

Lizardkit was surprised at how fast Lostkit dodged. Lostkit stuck his tongue back out at Lostkit and resumed chase.
