Fernpaw flopped over and looked towards the source of the noise. "Hey, kiddo." she said, getting up and shaking out her fur. "You new here?" |

Featherpaw had been more or less just watching cats that came in and out of the apprentice's den.
He hadn't had training lately or any responsibilities of the sort... Thus his hobbies had become a little more on the stranger side. "I think it's obvious she's new." He piped up. "Her scent is a new one in this den." He sniffed. "I suppose it's obvious if you keep track of the coming and going of scents of your classmates."

Featherpaw held his nose high.
"Knew it. I called it." He announced, before returning his gaze back to level. He gave a smug look aimed towards Amberpaw. "Name's Featherpaw. Do your best to remember, won't you?" He asked in a strangely sweet tone.

Fernpaw rolled her eyes at Featherpaw and turned back to the new cat. "Ugh. Whatever. Don't worry, most of the cats in here aren't as bad as him." she whispered to Amberpaw, winking and giggling. "So, anyway, welcome to the den! I'm Fernpaw. You have a mentor yet?" |

Featherpaw caught enough of the whispered exchange.
He huffed and held his nose high once more. "I'll have you know, I have quite the charming personality. Much more interesting than the dull things you all call quirks." He claimed loudly.

Fernpaw grinned her crooked grin at Featherpaw and leaped at him, bowling him over. "Heh. Like what?" she asked, getting off him and shaking her fur out. |

Featherpaw was knocked over.
He huffed at Fernpaw, getting up after she had released him. "I'll have you know, I am above stupid things all of you degrade yourselves with!" He claimed.

"That wasn't arguing. Just a bit of fun." He replied, slightly annoyed that Amberpaw had to interrupt.

Fernpaw sniffled at Featherpaw before grinning her grin at Amberpaw. "Why? Do you find this-" she bowled the other cat over, "argument-worthy?" she tilted her head before giggling and jumping off the other apprentice. "There's not much to this den, but it's bigger than the Nursery." Fernpaw said, flicking her fluffy tail. |

Featherpaw shook his head.
"Hm... Seems something crawled into your ear and addled your brains." He remarked. "This wasn't an argument... Thus, it cannot be argument worthy." He claimed, then huffed at suddenly being ignored by Fernpaw. He didn't like being ignored.

Fernpaw coughed loudly and shoved Featherpaw over, trying to quieten him. "Shhh." she whispered, before laughing and poking him on the nose. "Boop!" |

Featherpaw squawked.
"EeHeheHEH?!" He was immediately flustered, completely confused by this strange action, swatting at his nose with his forepaws. "W-WHAT WAS THAT?!" He shouted, his confusion evident in his tone of voice.
