Peachkit stared vacantly at the entrance of the nursery. His mind had drifted off to think about what the land behind the camp walls might look like. I bet there are a lot of trees, he thought, then snorted. Of course there would be a lot of trees. This was TreeClan for crying out loud! Unless, of course, whoever decided to name the clans thought that naming TreeClan "TreeClan" for the lack of trees would be both ironic and amusing; which it would be, although I doubt it's true, he sighed at his own mental rant. He needed to get a life. Not that it would be long before he had one, his apprentice ceremony wasn't as far ahead in his future as it had once been. Not wanting to think about it, seeing as the prospect of moving out of his new den was a conflicting subject. He had grown attached to the place, even if the prospect of something new peaked his interest. He would miss spending nights with his mother--well, adopted mother--and he would miss the ever-present scent of milk that lingered in the nursery. The cream-and-ginger tom looked around, trying to find something to take his mind away from his thoughts. His amber eyes landed on another kitten. Putting on a cool, relaxed smile he trotted over. The tom-kit dipped his head in the custom greeting. "Hi, I'm Peachkit."

The gray and white she-kit was looking outside the nursery with a little bit of bored eyes, as if she were trying to find someone that just wasn't there. She got up to observe the outside again, but the glimpse of snow sent her back inside the small den, and she was facing around everywhere, trying to find something to hold her attention other than, well, moss balls. She didn't even know that someone had approached her and spoke to her until she looked over in the tan-and-orange kit's direction, and she flinched.
Had he greeted himself? Had she just missed it? Mosskit sucked in a breath, before mewing, "Hello. I... was a bit distracted before, what did you say?" She let her eyes drift to his mouth, wanting to watch as the words formed.
[SORRY FOR THE LATE RESPONSE!]
