Shadekit was bored, needed adventure in his blood, he needed to do something today. He huffed and heaved himself from the spot he was lying. Dark fur weaved through the rocks as he shifted around the camp. Finally, he spotted a cat, the tom raced into action.

Sprinting to the highest rock, Shadekits yellow eyes gleamed as he got into a crouch, flexing his muscles. Moments passed over and the kit leapt at the cat, careful not to let his need to shout give himself away.

Skykit was merely sitting, minding her own business, tail curled around her paws, when her orange pelt prickled slightly with unease. She didn't know why, when she pricked her ears she didn't hear anything. Opening her mouth, she cautiously took in the surrounding scents, nothing but cats. Warriors, apprentice's maybe some other kits. Also some fresh kill on the pile, which, as she now noticed, was dwindling rather low. Shrugging, the green eyed kitten passed it off as nothing, blinking slowly and relaxing her tense shoulders. That was when some psycho came barreling into her and knocked her into the dirt. Hissing, she span around and stuck out with a soft kitten paw. She didn't want to use her claws in case it was a mock ambush. Thrusting upward with her powerful hindquarters, she threw her attacker off and spun to face him. Instantly she recognised him and sat down, shaking her head exasperatedly. Honestly, what was it with her siblings "attacking" her and all. Were they trying to get her to speak? Well in all honesty, she could speak, she just didn't want to.

Shadekit flinched as he was thrown off of the cat, landing in the grainy dust. He smirked as he lifted himself up, shaking the dust off. When Shadekit was able to see, he recognized the kit as one of his siblings, Skykit from his guess. His grin grew wider and he shoved his sister playfully. "Heeeey, sis!" He mewed in an annoying tone, just trying to aggravate.

Skykit sighed irritably, shaking her head at her brother whilst rolling her eyes for emphasis. When would it be that her siblings learned she held no interest for child's play? Twitching her ears, Skykit gave her brother a nod in greeting, ignoring his attempts to aggravate her. As silence dragged on, she merely sat there, tail curled over her paws as she blinked slowly at him. There was a chance, that in her silence, there was wisdom. For once she was older, the few times she might speak would be meaningful. For now she had spoken to the most thoughtful of her brothers, and her mother. She had no interest in conversing with others unless they deemed themselves worthy of her doing so. For now she just waited for the younger male to speak himself.

Shadekit felt ignored when his sister didn't reply, but he was silently happy when she acknowledged that she knew he was here. He nodded back awkwardly and shuffled his paws. Shadekit was one of those cats that needed to conversate with cats, and felt rather small when nobody replied to him. "Hey.... What do you want to do, now that we're in a conversation?" He asked, trying to sound confident.

Skykit could see her younger sibling felt a little deflated, and she wasn't at all surprised to find that he would still push fur conversation. At his words, she merely shrugged, but sensing her would get upset once more, she sighed and spoke to him for the first time. "If one sided is conversing then I suppose this is such. For now I only ask you do not mope over me failing to respond." finished speaking most likely for the day, she dropped into a battle stance and twirled her tail, snarling and narrowing perching green eyes. The only thing to show it to be a play fighting stance was her sheathed claws and welcoming glint in her eye.

Shadekit felt taken aback at Skykit's response, giving an embarrassed look and staring blankly at the ground. When he saw the play fighting stance, the dark grey tom immediately cheered up, copying the battle stance. With a mischievous flash in his eyes, he meowed. "Ready?"

The she-kit smirked as her brother copied her stance. At his words, she began to circle him, tail lashing back and forth as though to give her drive. Eventually she'd had enough, and so she darted in quickly to strike the younger tom with a sheathed paw, her gaze locked on his own while she struck out for his shoulder, leaping back to avoid any possibly retaliation.

Shadekit watched Skykit circle around him, his eyes narrowing at her. As she sprang he slid backwards, taking a hit to the nose, but he dodged the knock to the shoulder. He bared his teeth at his sibling, trying to look threatening. He then ran in circles around Skykit, switching directions every few seconds.

Skykit watched as her brother earned a bat on the nose before dodging her attack and circling her at an ever quickening pace, changing direction every now and then as though he was trying to dizzy and confuse her. Closing her emerald orbs, the kitten pricked her ears and listened, it seemed no attack was coming, so instead she aimed to pinpoint him. The second she located his next turning point, which would be where he slows, she crouched and got ready. Eyes flying open, she flung herself at her brother, pouncing on him in order to bowl him over.

Shadekit had stopped to pounce at Skykit, only to be surprised as she sprang back at him, falling to the ground. Wincing a bit, he stayed on the earth, thinking of his next attack. He should remember what Skykit had done, for future reference. He hissed and aimed to kick his sister off of him.

Skykit felt herself victorious as she knocked her brother down, but as he winced and stayed still on the earth. Worried, she narrowed her eyes and prepared to help him up, yet he threw her off him with a powerful kit for a kit. Glad he hadn't managed to note her hesitation, as it had been brief and concealed, therefore unreadable. She thought she'd do the same, yet intentional. And so when his kick landed her on the ground, she huffed out a breath as if winded, and lay still. Clearly breathing so she wouldn't worry him too much, but she kept her eyes closed and stayed still, wondering if he'd think she couldn't get up. Whatever it was, she wouldn't let him call her out, but she wouldn't let him get too upset about it either.

Shadekit flinched a little as he watched Skykit hit the ground hard, looking motionless except for the breathing, which eased his fear. He stepped forward, thinking she might of injured a muscle or something. The tom winced to himself and backed up to the spot he had gotten up at. He wasn't sure if his sister was hurt at all, so he asked cautiously.

"Y-you OK..?"

When the tom approached slowly Sky kit prepared to strike like an adder. Yet he seemed to almost expect her response. And so he backed up before she got the chance. Realizing the wasn't going to work, she got up slowly and awkwardly in order to keep him lulled before she suddenly, without the slightest hint of warning, sprung at him. Toppling him over.

Shadekit stared blankly at his sister, trying to decide if she was hurt or not, he stepped forward again hesitantly. He watched as Skykit got up, preparing himself to help her. His eyes grew wide as he was then toppled over by Skykit, knocking the wind out of him. He lied on the ground, trying to catch his lost breath.
