{ either or :3 }
Nightpaw brightened at that. She was asking questions! They were getting somewhere! "Oh! I know a bit about history. Not too much, to be honest though." Dang, he should have really studied history a bit more... then he could give Nightpaw an actually story--if she wanted one. All he really knew about was... mmhm... well, the DeathClan battle where Sageleaf died. Aaand maybe a bit about the fire in TreeClan. Aaaaaaaand... oh, his history was terrible He really needed to talk to an elder or something. Put that on the list of things to learn.

Nightkit shrugged.
"Any is sufficient." She replied simply. She waited for Nightpaw to go on about whatever it was he knew.

Nightpaw thought about it for another moment. And then he began to speak. "A long time ago, there was a fire." he began, and then added hastily. "I don't know a lot of details about this story. I just know it took out TreeClan's camp, and the Clan had to move to a different one. This one, right here(I think I'm right xD) is the current one. The old camp was in the heart of TreeClan territory, and was a reminder to all those who had survived the fire and those to come of the scar they received. From being chased from their home upon generations of generations, to then viewing it as bad land. I've been to the old camp before--Spiderstar was trying to revive it, since he wants to move back there. I don't really know how that's going, but hopefully someday we'll return. But anyway, it really does feel eerie. There it's like...." Nightpaw gave his front paws a wave, unable to describe the feeling with words. "I don't... know how to explain it. It's not really a bad feeling when you're there, but it's uncomfortable. Like there's a bad pressure there. Not evil, just bad. Almost... solemn. That could just be me, but I know other cats feel it too. The old camp was what had protected the early cats of TreeClan. And the fire took that away, still giving TreeClanners the creeps to this day."
"I don't know if anyone died in the fire," Nightpaw was quiet for a moment, then lowered his voice. "All I know is that it was a really bad fire, if we weren't even able to revive the camp back to it's original state."

Nightkit listened intently, drinking in every word.
Though, found Nightpaw's use of the word 'creeps' to be slightly... Childish. She wasn't exactly sure, but it rubbed her the wrong way. However, she said nothing of it and made no indication as to her discomfort. She nodded once Nightpaw finished. "I see."

Nightpaw paused. A simple 'I see'? Was that all he was going to get. With a childish pout, he realized that maybe he had talked a bit too much and disinterested her. That must have been it. But she did say she wanted a story... again, Nightpaw was questioning if Nightkit even liked him. Was he annoying? It never struck him he could be, but that could be the case. Or maybe she hated the fact they shared the same name? Or that he was a weirdo kitty with a right green eyes and a left blue eye? Or that--
He hated to insult himself. But he was curious--what did Nightkit not like in him? Should he ask?

Nightkit noticed that Nightpaw did not respond, and seemed to be lost in thought.
She was aware making a sharp exclamation would assist her in this situation. "Oi!"

Nightpaw jumped as Nightkit suddenly let out a loud meow. Finally focusing on the she-cat again, the speckled tomcat gave his head a tilt. "O-oh, sorry. I spaced out for a moment." he apologized.

Nightkit tilted her head to the side.
"It is fine." She responded calmly. "I wish to ask more questions."

"R-really?" He was shocked. She really was improving! "Y-yeah, go ahead."

Nightpaw noticed that his words seemed considerably less stable.
Perhaps from nervousness. Or excitement. Possibly both. "I wish to know more about the clans." She stated bluntly.

"The Clans? Sure, anything specific?" Nightyz asked now, wracking his brain on Clan knowledge.

Nightpaw shook her head.
"I lack general information, even." She responded.

Nightpaw snickered softly. "Well, then I guess I'll just start rambling." he replied. He decided he could start with FireClan. "Well, FireClan live on the prairie, of course. Their main prey of rabbits is there all season long. Their leader, Darkstar, has lead the Clan for an extremely long time. Our old TreeClan medicine cat--Grayshade--went over and joined their ranks, too. And a year ago, or well less than that but sometime between New-Leaf and Green-Leaf, FireClan had this really bad drought. And during the drought, a lot of cats died. I think it scared the whole Clan, because not only were they starving, but cats were dying left and right by causes other than the lack of prey. I'm not sure of all the details, honestly, but it sounds terrifying." He shivered, as if to prove that point.
