Static let out a small growl and she dashed up to Pain, and tried reaching up and swiping at his ears with her small claws.

He just ignored her little claws, staying as stiff as a stone.

So what if literally everything she tried was being ignored for the most part?! No reason to give up! She huffed and tried scratching with her tiny claws at his eyes.

He flicked his single ear and lifted his head.

Static growled, annoyed at the futility that was quickly presenting itself.

She gritted her teeth. No! She couldn't give up! All this was just practice for dealing with opponents where brute strength wouldn't work because he was a lot bigger than her! No reason to give up. She dashed around, so they were face to face. She tried biting his face.

He quickly attempted flicking his unusually long flicked his claws deeply along the left side of her neck realizing this was probably the brat that beat up patch.

No one would ever hurt her without at least a scratch from him.

Static didn't manage to get her bite in, as claws raked down the left side of her neck.

She let out a yelp, voicing her pain, as blood began bleeding from the wound. She quickly backed up and held a paw up to the claw wound, hissing. It was deep... Most likely her first scar. She opened her eyes wide at the tom.

"I thought..." She trailed off. This cat was so confusing! Didn't cats normally just say yes or no?! Rather than contradicting their words at every turn.

Static tilted her head to the side.

".... Who?" She asked, since the two she-cats had actually never exchanged their names during their encounter. She hadn't a clue who the tom might've been talking about, since she had been in a few different fights before. Who was Patch?!

" white black patches green eyes" he hissed before signing her yet again.

Static tilted her head to the side, before getting it.

"Oh yeah!" She folded her ears back. She felt kinda bad for jumping her now. She should've challenged her like she did to that maine coon! "Her...." Her voice trailed off.

He just continued staring at a tree across him.
