Lionsmoke I padded into the territory, having invited my mate, Wolfmist, out with me. I would meet her here to talk with her since I had kind of... "died," so to say. I looked around excitedly, trying to spot the familiar gray striped pelt.

Wolfmist could barely contain her excitement as she padded into the territory to meet her mate, Lionsmoke. She couldn't help it—she hadn't seen him in forever, and she missed him a lot. She perked up as soon as she saw a dark shape coming towards her, and she picked up her pace to go and meet him. "Lionsmoke?"

Lionsmoke I heard my name spoken from familiar lips. I turned my head quickly, spotting her walking towards me. A grin broke out on my dark muzzle as I trotted over to meet her. "Wolfmist. Wolfy. I missed you." A purr rumbled in my throat as I licked her head.

Wolfmist grinned, a laugh bubbling up in her throat at the sound of her old nickname. She was slightly angry with him, yes, but her happiness cancelled it out. She pressed against him, purrs rumbling in her throat. "Not as much as I missed you."

Lionsmoke I smiled, but I suddenly sighed. "I missed you too... I'm sorry. I shouldn't keep walking away. I'm just desperate for Jaypaw. I guess I should give up hope on him by now, huh?" A pained laugh escaped my mouth. "He's not going to come back. He hated Birdshadow and me anyway."

Wolfmist opened her mouth to ask, but closed it to listened once he started speaking. So she had been right. She sagged against him, a small sigh escaping her mouth as well. "You know I support you, and if you don't think you should give up on him, then don't. But please, if you leave again, take me with you." She gave him a small, hopeful smile.
"Honestly, I don't think he's out there. Or at least, he doesn't want to be found. He could be anywhere by now," Even CloudClan, "but I've never been the most optimistic person. So, it's up to you, really, as long as you take me with you."

Lionsmoke I felt her sag against me, looking down with wide yellow eyes. I nodded, listening to her as she spoke. I was clearly shocked at her request. Take her with me? But, it was dangerous out there. I didn't want her to get hurt.
I hesitated, but she spoke before I could. I sighed, then nodded. "Fine. I will. I just don't want you to get hurt."

Wolfmist laughed silently. "Me? Hurt?" She grinned at him. "I'm not that old, I can still fend for myself perfectly fine." She chuckled, nuzzling into his neck. "So, it's settled. You'll take me? Because whenever you leave I just get lonely." She pulled away.
"Where should we go?" Wolf asked, blue eyes darting across the territory.
