Assessment time! -- Dreampaw

Crevicefrost had woken up early to give her apprentice her first assessment before she could find become a warrior. "Dreampaw assessment! Grab something eat before we go" she called out as she waited for Dreampaw to emerge from her den

Dreampaw woke up, slightly grumpy that she was awoken so early. Then she remembered. It's the day of my warrior assessment! she thought. She stretched before getting out of her nest and grooming herself. Going to the fresh-kill pile, she went to grab a fish.

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost smiled at her apprentice. "First we will be testing your hunting skills so you will have to catch three or two pieces of prey. Then we will be texting your fighting skills. You will pretend that I'm an enemy warrior and attack me. After we will test your swimming" she meowed

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw nodded. While eating her fish, she thought, I wonder what my warrior name will be!

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost waiting for her to finish. "We will go when you have finished eating" she meowed

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw nodded. After eating, when went to the entrance and waited for Crevicelight to catch up.

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost led the way into the territory. "First you will go hunt a few pieces of prey. I'll be watching" she meowed

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw nodded. After a while, she scented something. Mouse. she thought. She padded silently, having her tail above the ground. After having the mouse in sight, she pounced on the mouse. Before it realilized what was going on, she killed it swiftly and efficently. After that, she buried the mouse for later.

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost murmured to herself. That was excellent. The warrior waited for her apprentice to start looking again. Maybe I should tell her to try and catch a fish?

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw looked around. She remembered that the stream was around here. Padding towards the stream, she tried to scent anything that would be prey. But that was to no avail, because she probably scared off quite a bit of the wildlife. Hearing the gurgling of the stream, she went towards it.

Dreampaw looked for a good spot for fishing. After a bit of looking, she found a spot. She sat down at the spot and looked into the water. Somewhat later, she spotted the glinting of a fish's scales. She swiftly dived per paw into the water, her paw being spoon-shaped. When her paw went out of the water, a fish was in it. She slammed the fish against a rock to kill it. Then buried it for later.

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost emerged from her hiding spot. "Good catch. Now we will do a fighting test. I'll surprise attack you from somewhere. Remember keep your claws in" she meowed 

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw nodded. A surprise attack, eh? She thought. Then she got prepared to fight, because the surprise attack could very well be now.

[Crevicefrost]

Crevicefrost had found a hiding spot quickly before taking light steps towards her apprentice. With sheathed claws the warrior attempted to aim a blow arcross her face.

[Dreamwish]

Dreampaw could scent Crevicefrost coming closer before she could see her. When the young warrior attempted to swipe her paw across her face, she dodged with ease. Remember Dreampaw, you are smaller and lighter than Crevicefrost. Use that to you advantage. She thought, then jumped back and leaped, aiming for Crevicefrost's paws to get in an attack on her neck.

Crevicefrost did not have time to dodge. After Dreampaw's attack the young warrior's eyes locked on her apprentice's leg and she attempted to give it a small nip before she could attempt to aim a blow at her ears
