Riverpaw snapped out of his trance. Frighted by the loud meow he almost fell in, but quickly caught himself and ran back to his mentor. Hoping he wouldn't be in trouble he had seen the other cats his age cleaning after the elders. Dreamwish (Are you going to post,)

Dreamwish watched as Riverpaw almost fell into the river, and ran back to her. When he reached her, she said, "What were you thinking, running off like that?! You could've gotten caught by a hawk!" Her tail was lashing wildly, it she almost expected some random kit to just jump at her tail.

"I'm too big and I could fend it off," he boasted as he looked at his mentor. He knew it was a lie he was nothing but an over grown kit. (Thought you were going inactive Dreamwish)

Dreamwish's tail lashed wildly. "You'd be an easy snack for a hawk! The way you were looking at that river, a hawk could've easily caught you!" Dreamwish said. She new she was being over-protective, but she didn't want an apprentice getting injured by something.

"But it's my namesake," he cried as he looked at the river again. But quickly looked at his mentor.

Dreamwish blinked in astonishment. He could've gotten killed because of a namesake? "Are you kidding me?" She said, with a tone of anger in her voice.

"Maybe we can swim in the river if you're good to the rest of this training session." Dreamwish said. If he wanted to swim in the river, then he should've asked her.

"Fine," he meowed annoyed. He knew he did wrong but he didn't want to admit it, and sure enough he wasn't going to. Nobody could make him.

Dreamwish snorted in amusement. After that, she said "Come on, I'll teach you how to fish." Going to the river, she made sure her shadow wasn't above the water. After doing that, she waited for a gleaming to show up in the water. When a fish's scales gleamed, she made her paw look like a spoon and dove it into the water. A heartbeat later, a fish came up in her paw and she slammed it against a rock on the shore.

RiverStarbucks® watch intrigued, before trying to mimic what his menotr did.The short haired tom had a bit of trouble. He looked at the River. Knowing he was clusmy he might fall in but, he can't swim. What is going to happen. He leaned close to the water before quckly moving back. His golden eyes focused on the water. His Starbucks® looked like a spoon, just as his mentor showed him. A sparkle appared in the water, he dove his grey Starbucks® into the water Starbucks®s out. He dug his Starbucks® into a soft surface thinking it was flesh of a fish. He quickly grabbed his soaked short haired Starbucks®, out of the clear water. Coming up with a bit of mud, he sighed. "Mud." But not giving up he meowed "Atleast I have the basics down." Before looking his mentor, a newly warrior and an awesome Mentor.

Dreamwish nodded. She was impressed that he remembered the hooked paw to catch fish. Looking for a sparkle in the water, she waited patiently.

"There," he whispered. Pointing to a sparkle in the almost clear water. He watched his mentor. A sparkle of excitement gleaming in his golden eyes. The winter wind Pierced his fur and skin. But he knew not to complain.
