Mistkit blinked.
She tilted her head to the side. There was a small spider crawling across the nursery floor. She liked watching the spider. It was interesting. Her focus was more or less entirely on the spider, she didn't seem to notice the cat approaching her.

Acornkit blinked her Amber eyes open and fixed them at the other she-kit who seemed to be watching something. The she-kit crept over. "What are you looking at. Is that a bug" she asked her but then looked more closer at the small eight legged creature. "A spider?" Acornkit meowed softly. "Hello I'm Acornkit daughter of Autumndust. You? Sorry for being loud earlier"

Mistkit didn't take her gaze from the spider.
"Yes. It's a spider." She responded fondly. "I'm Mistkit. Autumndust is my mom too. Sorta." She offered no further elaboration. "I like spiders. They're cute." She crouched down to try and see the spider at eye level.

Acornkit smiled at the kitten. "That means we're sisters" she mewed. Acornkit looked at the spider a bit. She did not think that they were really cute but she did not want to upset Mistkit. "Does the spider have a name? Do you want to name it?'

Mistkit nodded, still not looking towards Acornkit.
She could tell perfectly well that there was someone there. She was confident that Acornkit was not a hallucination. "Yes." She replied simply. "It's rude to label." She explained, still not taking her eyes off the spider.

Acornkit sighed. "Oh" she murmured. To her it was clear that Mistkit did not really enjoy her company. Is she sad about something?

Mistkit finally turned to look at Acornkit.
She tilted her head to the side. "Your response is quieter than before." She noted. "You have pretty eyes." She mewed suddenly, taking the topic someplace else. "I haven't seen that color before."

Acornkit looked at Mistkit. "Thanks. Its kind of you to say that" she murmured. "Your eyes are pretty too." Acornkit told her

Mistkit had never seen her reflection.
So she didn't know what color her eyes were. She tilted her head to the side. "I don't know what my color my eyes are." She explained. "What color are they?" She asked.

Acornkit began to speak. "They are a pretty bright green color" she told her. "Want to play a quiet game?"

Mistkit wanted to find her reflection one day.
Perhaps she'd be able to see it in a puddle one day. Or perhaps, when she was an apprentice she could peer into a stream. Regardless, she found the idea desirable. She tilted her head to the side in response to Acornkit's proposal. "What do you mean by that?"

Acornkit blinked. "I'm asking if you would like to play a not too crazy game?" She meowed. "It's your choice if you want to or not"

Mistkit watched Acornkit.
She tilted her head to the side. "Is that what you want? Would it be to your liking if we played a game?" She asked, instead of answering.

Acornkit looked at the other kitten. "Well I'd like to but it's your choice if you want to play or not" she meowed and then twitched her tail

Mistkit nodded.
"My choice is to play this game you have in mind with you." She meowed. However, she failed to elaborate, sensing it might drag things out without need. She believed that Acornkit might... Be resistant if Mistkit voiced the reasoning behind her final decision.
