Kestrelpaw sniffed the air hoping that no one was really near. Her blind eyes were unfocussed and lame. Kestrelpaw sat down and sighed curling her tail around her front paws. It was going to be a boring day.

Oh! There was a new cat!
A new friend? Well, duh, I would obviously make a new friend today! That's what I always did, hehe! I hopped over to the cat I didn't know--she seemed like an apprentice, was she? Hopefully a funny one! "Hi, hi, hi, hi! Who are you?" I chattered, leaning over to bump my nose into her shoulder playfully. "Hehe, I've never seen you before! Where did you come from? I'm Sweetpaw! I'm almost a warrior! Are you almost a warrior? We could be warrior friends! Maybe bestest warrior friends! Wouldn't that be cool? Oh, did I ask your name? I bet I did--whoops! I'm just so impatient! I bet it's cool--you have a cool name, right? Of course you do! Hehehehehehe~!"
