"No one actively attempts to kill a fox." He pointed out. "My parents always told me to avoid foxes and badgers. Cats are fightable. Not something that big and dangerous." He sniffed. "I would personally do my best to avoid a fight with a fox."

Thomas felt really awkward all of a sudden, sensing that Scarlet felt like they had won something.
This wasn't really a competition or something winnable...? He simply stared at Scarlet, his emerald gaze boring into her.
