"A small group of rouges. My mother raised me for a while, my father led the small group. I had no siblings. The first and only leaf-bare I had was the worst. So when I was around seven moons, mother left me at the edge of DeathClan territory and let me go. Bigger group, potential allies," Minax shrugged. "My parents couldn't take care of me anymore. So that's why I'm here."

He listened quietly, watching Minax as he answered. "Interesting." He responded, casting a glance up at the sky before turning back. "Do you miss them? Your parents, I mean." He thought Minax's story was a little on the sad side. He felt sorry for him. 'It must have been hard to get left alone after being with that group for so long.'

[Minax]

"I do, I can't lie. But they had no choice. I don't know why they didn't come along. My guess is my father's pride got in his way too much. He didn't want to be led by anyone. My mother...I'm not sure why. Maybe there was something that I wasn't aware of. Maybe they had an enemy that I was never told about. I'll probably never know, but I can't let it consume me. I could go out searching for the truth and probably never find it, or I could just be content with how life is now."

"Hmm." He twitched his whiskers. "You'll see them again sometime, probably. Keep your hopes up." Jude said, wondering if Minax's parents missed their son. They had to, right? Maybe they'd come back in search of him one day.

[Minax]

Minax thought it over for a while. "I'll try to. But if I keep them too high, I don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't happen...thanks, Jude. For listening. It means a lot."

"No problem." He said, stifling a yawn. He glanced at Minax. 'He said he joined a few days ago... Has he found somewhere to sleep yet?' "You tired?"

[Minax]

Minax nodded a little. "I am. I spent most of the day of the hunting," He said. But he didn't mention that he only caught a mouse. Minax was pretty terrible at hunting. Only when he surprised the prey did he catch something, but he had trouble sneaking.

Jude could feel his eyelids drooping as he listened to Minax speak. His eyes closed for a minute or two, but then he opened them wide, forcing himself to stay awake. He nodded sleepily. "Me too. I think I'm gonna go to bed."

[Minax]

Minax nodded. "Okay. See you in the morning, then?" Minax asked, getting ready to go find a place to sleep. His 'den' was a rotted out tree hollow, but it wasn't exactly the nicest. It did the job mostly, but termites were a constant bother.

Jude stood up and started padding away. "Yeah, see you later." He mumbled, trudging past some bushes and disappearing into the greenery.

Minax watched him go, then headed back to his den, crawling in. Things were looking up. Jude was a good cat. Maybe some day, they could be like brothers.
