Darkpool was stationed right outside the barn's entrance, her ears flat and body hunched over. She was recalling memories of her previous life, the one in IceClan with Horizonshadow and her friends. None of them had died, she hoped, but she hadn't seen them around the camp. The sheer sorrow came crushing down on the black she-cat's broad shoulders and she shuddered, one eye shut and head bowed. She stayed like that for a while, as a gust of warm wind blew through her fur and swirled around the campground. The warrior opened her eye and looked up slowly, sensing someone behind her. "I know you're there."

Morbid curiosity seemed to have taken control of Natalia's common sense.
Why she was here, she both knew but couldn't understand. She'd known that an entire clan of those cats had moved into the farm. She didn't really know why, but she didn't exactly care. The thing was, that the clans quite frankly mystified her. Even if she was starting to... Know, if not understand, that trust isn't necessarily a bad thing...
She still didn't get the practically implicit trust that such a large group of cats could share. Deathclan was extremely different. They weren't really... Unified. More like a number of cats hanging around the same area, and on occasion banding together to go attack something.
At least, that's how she understood it. Trust had never been a requirement.
Deathclan was not really well-liked by the clans. Natalia knew that. The feeling was mutual. But... She was starting to feel she underestimated a clan cat's sensory abilities and overestimated her own stealth skills.
She was called out by a fully grown she-cat with a dark pelt. Natalia kept a calm expression on her face, if a bit suspicious as she revealed herself to the clanner.
She folded her ears back. "Yeah. I figured." She meowed, though muttering the second part.

Darkpool's one deep blue eye stared at the newcomer with a mixture of distrust and tiredness. "You're not a threat, are you? I couldn't deal with a fight right now." she said sharply, standing up and limping over to stand right in front of the shorter cat. She sniffed the air slightly and wrinkled her nose. "DeathClan. You guys are a weird bunch. I'd want to be a rogue than end up in DeathClan." the dark she-cat's eye scorched over the fiery-pelted cat, scorning her and looking for what looked like weaknesses and strengths. "Well. I'm Darkpool. What's your name?"

At least the clan cat didn't seem getting ready for a fight.
Natalia was getting more of a.... Tired sort of vibe from this cat. Well, that was good. The words spoken by the cat seemed to solidify this fact. Thank the stars.... Natalia was not really a fighter. She could fight, but she preferred not to.
Immediately, the cat recognized her as Deathclan. She supposed hanging around the same cats and territory did tend to leave a very noticeable change in her scent.... Oh well. It didn't seem to change the other cat's view very much... Aside from the edge of suspicion.
Natalia huffed. "Natalia. I'd be happy to be a rogue rather than a clan cat." She replied back. "And... No. I'm not a threat. I'm just...." She paused. Well... She supposed there was no harm in being honest. "I don't understand you."

"Natalia. Huh." Darkpool raised an eyebrow at the name, but didn't make anymore comments. "You don't understand us? Pah! You think we understand you? You and your... ways." she snorted, but shook her head and coughed slightly. "Hmph. Well, we're pretty much a bunch of wild cats living away from the Twolegs in the mountains and trying not to die by banding together and caring for each other. Got it? Good." the dark-pelted she-cat moved her head back from Natalia's face and stood up, turning around and stretching. "What about you, Natalia? What's up with your... 'Clan'?"

Natalia wondered what was up with her name that got Darkpool thinking.
It was pretty obvious why Darkpool was a bit of a weird name... But Natalia? She was a rogue, so it actually did make some sense. She listened to what the older she-cat had to say. She still didn't feel like her questions were answered really... It wasn't really what she wanted to know.
"Deathclan's a bunch of wild cats who share a space and occasionally band together for some reasons." She meowed concisely. She narrowed her eyes. "What I meant.... Was that you've got your whole... Clan... Trusting each other. No questions asked." She huffed. "It's just... Weird."
