Talon sat in his nest, inhaling the crisp morning air. He weaved past the nests of sleeping kittens silently, careful not to step on any tails, paws or muzzles. It was early and the sun hadn't yet risen, one of his favorite times of the morning. When he turned around to slip back inside, most of the other kits were already up and running circles around the queens legs, begging to do this, that and the next thing. He sat on the soft floor of the nusurey. Pausing he noticed a kit a bit off on his own as well "warmest greetings to you!" he said happily, flicking his tail with welcome.

"And to you too!" Says Thornkit. Still a bit tired he yawns and flicks his tail in return. "Where were you just now?" He asks. "Were you trying to spy on apprentices? Can I come?" He rubs his face in the ground and stretches as he gets up. Accidentally bumping into another kit he says "Sorry my bad."

Smiling he faced the newer tom. He gave a awkward grin,"acctuly just checking out the sun rise... weird hobby of mine" he laughed knowing it sounded ridiculous. "Spy on the apprenticed, now why didn't I think of that" laughing he shook his head "I guess we can to that too" smiling he relised, i might have just made a friend. "Oh umm Im TalonKit. You are?'

"My name is Thornkit." His excitement to have already made a friend bubbles over and he bounces from side to side is excitement. Racing out of the den he starts to talk and is cut off when he gasps "OOO The camp is HUGE! Where are the apprentices?" He squats down and sticks his hind legs in the air and wiggles his haunches like weak hunting stance

He grinned, "Well it's nice to meet you ThornKit" smiling he followed the fellow tom. Amused he shook his head, "It is big isn't it" looking around he answered "Proably out training, to bad" he looked around. He laughed at the attempt of a hunters crouch. "Don't hurt your self" grinning he added "Want to play a game?"

"Sure! But what can we play, in a place so big?" Thorn kit looks around the camp and notices a large pile of fur and meat around what looks like the center of the camp. "Whats that?" He asks Talonkit. Glancing at Talonkit he thinks, I hope that my new friend is nice ALL the time!

He tited his head "Well anything I guess." Smiling he noticed what Thorn was suddenly interested in. "Oh thats the fresh-kill Pile, c'mon" standing he padded towards the towinger heap of prey. He him self had only eatin it a few times. Still not as fond of the food as he should be just yet. "You havn't ever eatin Prey have you? Squirl is my favorit so far. But it s a bit harder to eat" looking through the chow, he spotted a smaller squirrl pulling at it he was able to free it from the mound, smiling he nudged it towards Thorn.

Thornkit cautiously accepts the prey. He bites into the squirrel and coughs "Uhh is it normal that hard to eat? He looks nervously at Talonkit hoping he didn't offend him. He tries again and tastes the meat, "Well, it's actually pretty good." He says lying. He starts to eat just a little more trying to seem genuine

Laughing he shook his head "It's tough. Mum had to skin it for me" he shook his head, "Dont worry about it," he started to pull off fur before eating the animal. |

"I think i'm full." Responds Thornkit, "So do you still want to play a game? Could we play fight, or moss ball or something? I saw some of the other kits playing it yesterday." Running around Talonkit he skids to a stop and tilts his head awaiting an answer.

He smiled, "So you didn't like it?" he then shook his fur out with a smile. "Play fight sounds like fun, of course if you think you can go up against me" he said with a laugh.

Thornkit wiggles around before saying "Ohhh you are going DOWN!" As Thornkit finishes he flings himself at Talonkit trying to knock him to the ground

He was surprised, as he was charged at. Toppling over, he attempted to wriggle the kitten of him self. Moving to make a few hits with his own paws. (Of course claws sheathed)

Surprised he did not just bounce off he is hit by the blows and stumbles back semi-stuned and aims a half-blind swipe at Talonkit on the ground

He easily dodged the oncoming attacks from the darker kit. He smiled, and jumped hoping to actually pin the fellow male.
