Jude closed his eyes when she spoke, agreeing completely. "I don't even know him and I hate him." Not to mention how much he got along with Patch. He didn't like her, either. 'I'll just remember to stay away.'
The tabby tipped his head to the side. "Although... I can't see you being a peasant forever. You'll definitely move up."

Natalia huffed.
"I know him. We met once, briefly. He wasn't anymore pleasant than what you've seen of him." She snorted. "I'd go so far to say that he's worse at making friends than I am."
She blinked in response to Jude's statement. "What makes you say that?" She asked, genuinely curious.

"I'll try not to run into him." He said with a sigh, glad that he wasn't the only one who found the tom not too pleasant.
Jude gave her a look up and down when she asked why. "You aren't very trusting. So far I've learned that that's a pretty good quality for a DeathClanner." He flicked an ear. "And you're honest. Dove must like that."

Natalia nodded.
"Good call. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to go looking for cats aside from Patch. Should be easy to avoid the jerk." She meowed.
Then she blinked. "Huh? Well... Uh... I guess." She shuffled her paws. "I'm just not sure where I stand in Dove's eyes aside from just some Deathclanner." She sighed.

"That's weird. Especially since Patch is... Different." He settled with that word, not finding a better one.
Jude frowned slightly. "You've talked to Dove, right? I'm sure she thinks more of you than that." 'Ugh. Does Natalia still think lowly of herself? What will it take to change her mind?'

Natalia shrugged.
"I'm not going to question what he does." She stated firmly.
She sighs. "Yeah... But I think I came off as a grump and difficult in general." She winced, recalling one time Dove had tried to help her after she'd gotten in a nasty scrape. The silvery tabby had dropped Natalia on purpose after she'd said something that in hindsight might've been a bit more rude than wise.

Jude was silent for a few moments. 'Of course she thinks that. I don't think I'll ever hear her say one good word about herself!' He felt a little frustrated, but waited for that feeling to pass before he spoke. He didn't want her to get the wrong message if his tone was off. "You? No way." He chuckled.
"But really... I can't believe that. You're much better than you think you are, and I'm sure you were fine with Dove."

Natalia was surprised by the light-hearted tone Jude used.
She sighed. "I really think you don't know me that well, then." She didn't understand this sort of... Faith Jude seemed to have in her. They barely knew each other, didn't they? Well, she sort of told Jude something personal she'd never told anyone else...
....
Maybe he did know her better than she thought he did.

Jude shrugged. She'd opened up to him in their past conversation, and unless she was like that with everyone else, he thought he knew her well. "Alright." He wasn't going to convince her otherwise. There was no point.

Natalia sighs.
"... You still know me better than most, I think." She meowed quietly. The only other cats who knew anything of her were her brother and parents... All who'd walked out on her. She hadn't seen any of them since, so she was fairly sure no one in Deathclan would be able to get information about her from them.

"Is that a bad thing?" He wondered if she regretted telling him anything. She did seem more on the secretive side. 'Unless she doesn't regret it and actually trusts me.' He almost laughed at the thought, highly doubting it. No one would ever trust him, especially not Natalia.
