Natalia sighed.
"It's not that simple..." She averted her gaze. "The problem was the whole thing. The problem was... Just me." She swallowed nervously. "I-I... I used to think that relationships weren't worth it. That trusting others would only hurt you." She laughed humorlessly. "I made a friend and somehow it ended up the other way around."

Patch didn't know what to say for a minute or two, she began to realize why Natalia didn't like her moons ago, the fact that she didn't like friendships. That, and Patch was stupid as a kit.
"At least you're learning, some cats don't have the courage to say they were wrong." She smiled weakly, trying to lift the two spirits. "You... You can have enough courage to do almost anything. To admit a wrong, to fix it. I hope you understand what I'm saying, because I don't."

Natalia shrugged.
"I can admit my mistakes. That's not hard." She responded, not getting that for most admitting your mistakes was rather difficult. "But... I just don't know how to fix it."
She laughed humorlessly. "No... I get what you're saying. It's good advice, even if you don't really get what you're saying."

Patch smiled, nodding slowly. She flicked her tail and meowed, "Well, maybe we can try to fix it together? It's okay if you don't." She sighed. She didn't know what technically happened, but it couldn't be too terrible, right? No death reports, anyway.

"Why are trying to avoid them? Did they do something bad or anything?" Patch replied, flicking her ears. She felt like she wasn't really helping Natalia, just making her feel uncomfortable, but she tried to ignore that.

Natalia wondered what she was doing here talking to Patch.
Heck, what was Patch doing here listening? Was she entertaining the fiery tabby out of boredom? Regardless, she kept answering. "Well... No... They.... They got hurt because of me."

"What, you go insane? There's been some grudges towards me for that." Patch tried to laugh, thinking of how Slate acted towards her for her... Mind slip. She touched her face scar with her tail and continued talking, "Or just something else..?"

Patch's eyes narrowed as Natalie responded, she felt her own claws dig into the ground. "Who is he and who did he hurt." She hissed.

Natalia couldn't help but shrink, intimidated by the display of anger from Patch.
"Erm... He hurt Jude... We both used to be loners... But he somehow ended up as a kittypet." She replied quietly, not wanting to agitate Patch further.

Patch's claws dug deeper into the ground, frowning. "He hurt Jude?!" She said, almost yelling. Even though the tom didn't like Patch much now, he was still Riverpaw's brother and a friend of his was a friend of hers. "Well, thanks for telling me." She said calmly, yanking her paws out of the ground.

At the meeting, Natalia had watched Patch and Jude have a disagreement.
Were they actually on better terms than she'd originally thought? She really hoped Patch wasn't going to go searching for a fight, she really didn't want another injured cat on her conscience.

Patch settled down, she sheathed her claws. "F-Fine. I'll go see if Jude is alright later..." She mumbled softly. Her paws started shaking as she added, "But if I catch your brother or someone else hurting someone I care 'bout, they're gonna have a little chat with me."

Natalia didn't like the idea of Patch meeting Thomas...
But this way... It seemed less likely. As long as Jude didn't go searching for Thomas again, things would be okay. It wasn't like Thomas would come looking for her, right? Actually, the thought was mildly terrifying.
She simply nodded in response. "... Okay." She replied, sounding oddly submissive.
