Forestpaw sat near the back of camp, holding his paw very still. A bee had just landed on it, and he wanted to see how long he could keep it there. 'I wonder if it thinks I'm a flower.'

He grew stiff at the sound of approaching pawsteps, and the bee flew off when the cat got closer. He growled, turning to whoever had scared it off. "Thanks a lot, mouse-brain."

Talon spotted an old... well ish friend. He was a bit taken back as he was called mouse-brain. "Whoa, that's Cotton head to you" he purred amused. Though not sure how special that bee was he didn't care at this point. Inviting him self to join Forest he flopped down. "How you been?"

He watched the tom flop down with a frown. "Well I was entertained with a bee, but you just had to scare it off." He shook his head and lifted his nose in the air.

[TalonFrost]

"Man I'm that frightening am I?" he joked then sighed. "Sorry" he tilted his head, and narrowed his eyes in thought. "Hey ForestPaw," he paused. "Never mind" he laughed. "Hows training I can't beilve your going to get your name soon" He moved to nudge the tom thought he new better.  "I mean it was like yesterday when you were tring to get rid of me. I was a new apprentice and you were still the old fart you are now so I guess not much as changed."

Forestpaw listened with a sigh, perking up his ears when Talonpaw addressed him. It was followed by a "nevermind", and immediately Forestpaw's attention was caught. He ignored the rest of the tom's reply. "No, what were you going to tell me? You can't just dismiss it like that."

[TalonFrost]

He flicked his ears most cats would let a simple thing like that go, but forest wasn't like most cats that was certain. "Do you have a name your hoping for? I mean like a warriors name." He grinned, knowing like every other apprentice in the clan had given much thought into such a silly matter.

So that was all he wanted to know? Forestpaw shrugged. "Not really. Do you?" He returned the cat's grin with a straight face. 'What goes with Talon? I'm sure he's thought about it.'

[TalonFrost]

"Oh come one, You have to have something" he persisted on the silly subject. "I was hoping for something like TalonFrost.. But I still am thinking about it." He moved to give a light hit to the other male "C'mon you have to have something"

'Talonfrost.' That wasn't bad. It was better than anything Forestpaw could think up of. "No, really, I haven't." He secretly took a liking to the name Forestfox, though it shared part of the name with his father and he found that slightly embarrassing.

[TalonFrost]

"Nope I'm not taking a 'no'" he aimed for another perstering blow. "Come on out with it, and if you've never thought of it you better come up with something if you want me to leave you alone" he jeered though his all so famous grin was still in tact.

"Forestfur." He said dryly, not wanting to try any harder than that. He kind of didn't care what his warrior name would be. He was just excited to get away from his mentor. 'I'm sure she's excited to see me go, too.'

[TalonFrost]

"Oh come on you old grouch" he smiled, "Fine I'll take that one, but you better be putting more thought into this by the next time I run into you" he purred glad that he had at least gotten a response. "So hows training? or are you too cool for that too?"

He huffed. 'I'm not too cool for anything.' "I hate training. You?" He wondered if his mentor hated training him as much as he hated getting trained. If she did, she sure didn't show it.

[TalonFrost]

"Well I havn't had much luck, SwiftStrike always seems to busy" he said with a grumpy expression. "Oh well I guess he has a live too" looking at Forest he realized he didn't know the poor cat asked to train him. "Hey who is your mentor?"

'Swiftstrike.' He'd heard that name before. 'Wonder what he's like.' Forestpaw slumped his shoulders at the question. "Hornetstripe. She's a nightmare."
