Spruceclaw ) Sandstone was honestly bored out of her mind and she didnt know what to do. Sure she could be sleeping but she wasn't tired. She could go grab a piece of prey, but she wasn't hungry so she decided to go out into the clearing of the camp and look up to Cloudclan. She smiled at the starry clan til she saw an explosion in the sky which scared her pelt off of her. She froze in her spot as she watched yet another explosion go off in the sky. What was going on? She wondered as she watched as three of the explosions went off. She shivered in fear and curiousity on what the colorful explosions were. She then scented a scent she hadnt smelt in what seemed like moons, Spruceclaw. She turned to see him but spotted no one. She frowned and looked back at the explosions.

Spruceclaw had taken what you may call a... vacation. he was back now and here to stay. He had strode into camp early this very day but had mostlt slept and now he sat at the entrance to the warriors den watching a familiar she-cat while she watched the sky explode in colour. "Well what's a beautiful she-cat like you doin out here on a strange night like this?" He purred it may sound like he didn't know who the other feline was although he knew very well who she was. And he had missed her. he just wondered what her reaction would be to his return. joy? Anger? Uncertainty? He knew not.

Sandstone jumped only to smiled to see the familer tom she had dearly missed. She looked at him and smiled softly as she padded over towards him brushing her head under his chin purring happily. "Watching the sky explosions with you now." She purred giggling softly licking his muzzle flitily (is that even a word?) and looking at him. Oh Cloudclan had she missed her Sprucey, the warriors den seemed colder without him. "What do you think is going on up there? Are our ancestors in war?" She asked looking up at him.

Spruceclaw purred in absolut delight. it had been so long since he had seen his mate and now here they were beneath the stars. "I could care less about what are ancestors are doing as long as your here then I'm happy." he purred licking her cheek.

Sandstone purred madly and licked him again while trying to hide her blushing. She placed her paw on his and buried her muzzle into his pelt. "As long as we are together I'm happy." She smiled.

Spruceclaw purred at her statement and nodded as he nuzzled her. "I missed you so much. so what have i missed besides the sky exploding." He mewed still nuzzling her pelt.

"Well our kits became apprentices, well Finchpaw and Silentpaw did. But not Robinkit or Sunkit or even the other Silentkit." She meowed intertwinning their tails. She looked up at him. "I missed you too. I didnt know where you went and im just glad your okay." She meowed purring.

"I suspect they'll be warriors soon enough." He purred with a sense of pride. "I suppose my apprentices have continued their training." He mewed with a pang of sadness. "I guess i let them down. you know how i felt about mentors abandoning their apprentices. id have never left them if i had a choice." He mewed with guilt.

"Yes they will be, our daughter Silentpaw was appointed a new mentor." She meowed happily even though she was sad she wasn't her kins mentor. "I know you are Sprucey. I was appointed two apprentices just now. Raccoonpaw and Pantherpaw." She meowed. "And dont hiss at youself, they forgave you most likely." She meowed lickig his cheek.

"Well Raccoonpaw wants to be a hero and Pantherpaw she wants to be the best warrior ever." She meowed deciding she shoulf proubaly tell her mate about what happened at the Fireclan border. "Uh Spruceclaw..something else happened too. I was by the Fireclan border and this warrior, Thunderfox, he he fell ij love with me...i domt know how or why. He wants me to come join Fireclan now." She meowed lowering her head sadly.
