She was new. Lillypad was alive she seemed to glow with a thousand strong confident beams of light. She was going to show him. She would let him meet the real Lilly. The one who knew life the awakened one. She ran to the border ignoring the screaming pain in her leg. She was reckless awake in love and young. She was there but bounced back by a border. She was prettier than ever her posture was up. Her eyes shimmered with light beams. So bright. " Speckflame?!" She called. |

His ears perked at the voice. Completely not believing it. Slowly, he turned around. He had been just about to leave, his back turned to return to FireClan's camp, having giving up another day that Lilypad would show up. And then there she was. A brilliant and beautiful IceClan warrior across the border. "L... Lilypad?!" he cried, baffled. But then he was rushing forward, almost skipping over the border in his excitement. But he just caught himself, not taking his eyes off of the she-cat for a second. "You're... you're... holy CloudClan, you're absolutely beautiful."

she burst into a grin "speak for yourself sir!" she giggled. "hey follow me to the fields there are no boundaries here" she smiled "sorry about my absence I was well, in a coma" she said before laughing "and I'm not kidding either."

"A coma?" he sputtered in alarm, but followed her regardless. He couldn't find anything to laugh about that, though. "You're better now... right, Lilypad?"

Speckflame couldn't help but smile, thankful she was okay. As they moved out of FireClan and IceClan territory, he couldn't help but draw closer to her. "That's good. I'm... oh CloudClan, I seriously thought for a long while that you either went missing or something bad had happened or...." He took a deep breath. "I'm just glad you're okay."

"Nah, it's fine. I'm just glad we're friends now." he purred, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively at Lilypad. "And someday... maybe even something more." Although he was just teasing her.

She giggled "yha maybe" she looked across the flat plains. "you know.." She said suddenly serious "I wouldn't have woken up from that coma if it wasn't for you."

Speckflame felt a spark of hope at the 'maybe', instead of a simple 'no'. That meant something. Looking out himself, he was surprised by her words. "Really?" he asked with a note of interest.

"you were the only person waiting for me so I pulled through." she smiled looking into his eyes "Badgerpaw died so I wouldn't and I'm not putting it to waste" she said a tinge of guilt in her voice before she shook her head "basically i'm going to make the best out of my old life

Speckflame looked sad himself at the mention of Badgerpaw. 'He died during the avalanche, I remember now... I wish I could have known him.' "I have to thank Badgerpaw as well. If he hadn't sacrificed himself, I would have never been able to see you again." he meowed, giving Lilypad a sad smile. "And that's good. You should make the most of every experience. Even this one." He winked suggestively.
Although, a moment later, his smile seemed to brighten. "I'm glad I was able to pull you from that coma... haha, talk about hearing something to brighten your whole day, right?" he purred.
