I gave him a look. "Okay, okay. Calm down, buddy. I think it's impossible. There's no way to gather all of us in one place and have it be peaceful enough to make sure all of us stay. Had that ever worked before?" I asked my brother with serious green eyes. "Our parents are gone who knows where. They left us to our own devices. I'm going to use my devices."

Michael narrowed his eyes.
".... Mother and Father asked me to watch over one specifically. Azrael." He flattened his ears. "... That is not outside the realm of realistic possibility." He hated that serious look that told him that Gabriel truly believed their parents had abandoned them. True... They hadn't exactly... Checked up on Michael since they sent him after Azrael. But that surely meant they trusted him, right?

I sighed at my brother, shaking my golden head. "You're too optimistic. Sometimes you need to see that something is impossible." They wanted him to watch over Azrael? Did they really care for us at all? "Just Azrael?" I asked, giving him a narrowed-eyed look.

Michael growled.
"I was unaware of you leaving our family before this encounter. Ariel had left as well, and Castiel has been assigned to watch over her, as I watch over Azrael." He glared at Gabriel. He was firm in his beliefs that his parents knew what was best and had all their best interests in mind.

I sniffed, turning my head to the side. "They seem to have who they care about being looked over. Anyway, on that note, I may as well go. Gotta hunt before turning in for the night," I said, standing up and facing opposite of my brother to leave.

Michael's ears folded back and he growled.
"Since you clearly have more important things to do than take care of your own family, I suppose I should leave as well." He stated it as if the idea was abhorrent. He turned around, facing the opposite direction and stalked off.
