Sitting on the Fence

[Elodie]

"That's awful! My twolegs always make sure that I'm out of harm's way," she said. She looked at Patch in detail; it was plain to see that he wasn't joking about those awful cats. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?"

[Redfern]

Pads awayy

[Patch]

He buries his head in bellas fur. "I don't know..... All i want to do is never go back there again.

[Elodie]

"Oh, Patch! I don't blame you!" she said, "I know! Why don't you stay with my twolegs and I! My twolegs are wonderful! They always make sure that I am well fed, and give me cream, and buy me toys, and we have lots of blankets...!"

[Patch]

"Oh could I!? It's been so lonely with no one to talk to!"

[Elodie]

"Sure! Oh, boy, this will be so much fun! All of my other friends are all warriors, so they never get to play with me. But now we can be best pals!" she exclaimed. "Come on! I'll show you inside." Bella jumped down and led Patch through the cat door.

[Patch]

He follows bella into the twoleg home, bouncing with excitement.

[Elodie]

Once they are inside, she leads him to the food bowls. "Here is the food...it's not too great, but it's not bad," she said, "Go ahead and eat! You look starved!"

[Patch]

He starts to eat and once he is finished he looks at bella. It's better then my old food at least!

[Elodie]

"See? It's not so bad. Now let's go see about the toys!" she said as she led him over to a small basket filled with items.

[Patch]

"ooh.... whats this?" He picks out a spiky chew toy.

[Elodie]

"That's one of my favorite toys!" she exclaimed. Bella pawed the toy over and chased after it. When she reached where it had stopped, she pawed it back towards Patch.

[Venom]

Venom was padding silently through the forest. She didn't feel like sleeping; night was her favorite time of the day. She loved how the cool breeze swept across her fur and the moon shined above her. Venom usually didn't come this close to the twoleg place, but she didn't feel alarmed or afraid. She just padded through the forest, then heard meowing inside the twolegs home. She leaped onto the fence and looked at the two kittypets, who were chatting excitedly, through the window. Looks nice to be a kittypet, Venom shrugged. Not having to worry about anything, chatting with the neighborhood kittypets, having treats, warm nests, toys.. She was getting lost in her thoughts. But she then shook her head. I don't think the life of a kittypet is right for me. I enjoy wide open spaces better, She thought, but still sat on the fance, looking at the two kittypets in the twoleg home.

[Redfern]

I jump silently up beside her and look at the window, not saying anything

[Venom]

A little alarmed at this, Venom laid her ears back with suprise, but she didn't hiss. Does everyone have to sneak on me like this? She hissed in her mind. But she then relaxed, curling her tail over her paws. She did that often. "Hello," Venom greeted the stranger cat, who apparently wasn't a threat. "Who are you?" She asked.
