"Hm?" He looked down at his paws, quickly sheathing them. He shook his head. "I'm okay." He stared down for a few more moments before clearing his throat. "Do you want to meet her?" He wasn't sure if Nightpaw was still around, though he knew he could keep checking back every day for her.

[Natalia]

Natalia shifted her paws uncomfortably.

"Uh..." She wondered if she should just... Start talking. She didn't really get entirely what she was feeling. Maybe if she just started talking it would come out alright. "It's just... I don't remember her. She's practically a stranger. She doesn't really... Feel like family, if you get what I mean." She let out a dry laugh. "Hell, my parents don't feel that much like family." She answered honestly.

Jude listened quietly, surprised by how much he could relate. Before meeting up with Riverpaw again he could only slightly remember seeing a glimpse of him. He shook his head slowly when she laughed. "Still... It could be nice to see her. She's a lot more tolerable than your brother." He said softly, frowning some more when she finished up. "I'm sorry to hear that."

[Natalia]

Natalia sighed.

"But I'm a stranger too... Besides, you said she's in Treeclan?" She fixed Jude with a skeptical look. "What guarantee do I have that she'll drop by the border again? There could be a different member of Treeclan going by the border. Somehow I don't think they'd be very friendly to a Deathclanner." She frowned. "You realize that the clans and Deathclan have a sort of mutual hate relationship?"

"You wouldn't be a stranger to her." He pointed out, shrugging at her next words. 'A clan cat wouldn't cross the border to pick a fight, they're too soft. And I doubt that Natalia would want a fight, either. So wouldn't it be okay if she ran into someone else?' Jude thought, not going to ask. It sounded like she didn't really care to see her kin, so there was no use trying to help.

"Yeah... I wish it wasn't that way." He sighed.

[Natalia]

Natalia frowned at Jude.

"She obviously left before I could remember her properly. If she was able to walk away..." She sighed. "Then that means we didn't have a meaningful bond. So... We're strangers to each other." Natalia put a lot of weight onto the bonds that existed between two cats. To her, things like blood mattered less.

She shrugged. "It's how it is."

"Even so... You're not the least bit curious to see her?" He found it surprising. Nightpaw could have left for a good reason, too. And maybe the clanner was wanting to see her sister. He didn't say anything to her last words, only acknowledging it with a tail-flick. He wasn't going to push the issue onto her.

[Natalia]

Natalia shook her head.

"Not really. Maybe it's... Not a good thing.... But I honestly don't care as much as I probably should." She answered honestly. Sometimes she wondered about herself, but honestly... She didn't think she was one to delude herself into thinking she was any better than she was.

"That's alright." He was curious to know why she didn't care. Cats were supposed to care for their family, right? At least that's what he'd been told. "She looks very different from you. Black fur, blue eyes." He figured he'd tell her all of the information he knew, even if she didn't want to see her. Appearance was a good thing to know.

[Natalia]

Natalia blinked.

"Huh?" She took a moment to process the information Jude just gave her. "Oh. She must... She must get that from her Mother." She figured.

"Mom was a ginger tabby." She explained. "She gave the ginger color to me and Thomas."

Jude nodded. 'So then Natalia has a different parent. I wonder what happened...'

A smile began to appear at her next words. "She must have been very pretty, then. Your ginger fur is quite the color."

[Natalia]

Natalia's ginger fur became even redder.

"Eh, wha-?" She could not conceal her surprise. What was Jude doing with... With... These compliments?!

Jude tilted his head. "What do you mean?" He asked, surprised by how surprised she sounded. "Don't you know you're pretty?"

Natalia huffed.

"W-Well.... I don't go looking for reflections!" She exclaimed.

"Then that must be why." He couldn't help but chuckle at how flustered she was getting.
