FirecallAmberflash had been given responsibility of yet another apprentice... This one had already had their apprentice ceremony a while ago. She wasn't sure who mentored Firepaw before, but for some reason they weren't anymore. Amberflash was already training Creekpaw and Acornpaw... But she supposed she was going to have to juggle all three. She sighed. She wasn't even sure what training Firepaw had already... There was also the part about Firepaw's name seeming somewhat familiar... But she couldn't quite put her paw on it.... Oh well. It probably wasn't terribly important. It was well into the morning and Amberflash had already eaten. She was watching the fresh-kill pile for when Firepaw would come and eat their first meal of the day.

Amberflash finally spotted Firepaw eating a rabbit rather....
Delicately? Honestly, Amberflash thought that was a tad... Weird. If it were her, she'd be ripping into it. Maybe good things should be savored, but in her opinion it was just too tasty. She padded up to Firepaw, coming up from behind.
"Hey, Firepaw."

"good afternoon how are you?" he said dipping his head politely.

Well that was a good sign.
Then again, this was their first time training. Amberflash shrugged. "I'm okay. Er... Do you want to get started right away?" She eyed Firepaw's rabbit. "You should probably finish that before we go."

He nodded before offering"would you like any." He was so nervous sometimes the large russet red tabby's good manners repelled other cats.

Amberflash shook her head.
"I'm fine. You can finish your own meal. Then you can meet me by the entrance, okay?"

Firepaw nodded "alright then."
In no time the rabbit was finished and he was at the entrance. " I hope that wasn't to much of a delay my apologies" he meowed politely.

Amberflash nodded in return.
While Firepaw was swiftly devouring the rest of their rabbit, the white furred she-cat made her way over to the entrance and sat down. Soon enough, Firepaw made his way over. She shook her head in response. "It's fine. Let's get going." She stood up on her paws and went through the entrance, and into the territory. She beckoned with her tail behind her, for Firepaw to follow.

Firepaw filled her promptly and quite nervously.

Amberflash walked along, leading Firepaw further into the territory.
"So... Uh.... I don't actually know what parts of your training have been completed and which haven't." She admitted. "Can you tell me?"

"oh my bad I'm so very sorry I didn't inform you." He said ridiculously respectfully. " all I need to learn is to fight" he explained.

Amberflash nodded.
She kept leading Firepaw, until they found a nice empty spot on the prairie. She stopped and turned around. "Alright. So first think you need to know in a fight... Is that you have to move. All the time."

The large tom nodded taking note and listening before asking "is that so you are harder to hit"

Amberflash sighed.
"I don't mean you have to be skipping all the time." She clarified. "I mean that you can't just stop to think of a plan. In a battle, it's kinda messy. You just sort of have to go for it." She tilted her head. "Did that make sense?" She asked. She'd never been in a proper battle... So she was mostly teaching theory here... But, it'd have to do.
