MaggotscreechPatch was around the Fireclan border today, she had taken off the cobwebs from her eyes to actually navigate there since it had been so long. She felt like she was here before. Familiarity boomed around Patch, then she scented someone. She had a miniature heart attack, and she staggered back. Her eyes widened at the sight of a somehow familiar cat. She didn't speak.

Maggotscreech stared at a familiar looking cat who was near the border that seperated Fireclan from the outside cats.
His bright green eyes slanted as he walked closer, his boney legs shaking with each step.
"Nighthowl?" The warrior asked, confused about what was happening.

Patch narrowed her eyes as the warrior said her last life's name. "N-No, I'm not Nighthowl." She said, shaking her head. She remembered the tom vaguely, she shivered a bit. "You're Maggotscreech, right?" She asked awkwardly.

Maggotscreech was confused when this cat said that she was in fact not his friend Nighthowl... well the she cat was dead but he believed in Cloudclan so it wasn't impossible for him to meet the dead.
Somehow this stranger knew hus name. "Yes I'm Maggotscreech now name yourself or I'll call you what I want, twerp."

Patch lowered her ears at the toms hostility, she shook it off and nodded. "My name is Patch, I um..." She stopped, hearing the word 'twerp'. Ugh, this cat was making her feel like two people.

Maggotscreech widened his eyes... This cat was a strange one- although it was a little hypocritical for him to say that.
"You um what, dear?" He taunted, twitching his brick coloured nose.

Patch sighed, staring at Maggotscreech blankly. "It really has been a long time, Maggotscreech. I'm sorry if I'm acting weird." She laughed silently. She didn't flinch at Maggotscreech's taunt, only smiled at it.

Maggotscreech's ear flicked. What did she mean by 'it has been a long time'?. He didn't trust this cat.
"Well you are acting weird so stop before I make you." He complained, still the grumpy cat he always had been.

Patch took a deep breath, ready to explain.
"Okay, so I am Nighthowl, but at the same time I'm not, I'm a reincarnation as Pain says. I remember vague things about you, Fireclan, Stormpaw... But trust me, as useful as it is, it is my downfall in a lot of emotional stuff. I'm sorry I'm being confusing, I confuse myself too."

Maggotscreech nodded, understanding a bit better before smiling widely. He stepped forwards and began to nuzzle the younger feline.

Patch laughed as Maggotscreech nuzzled her, "Me too, Screech. You got any other apprentice's without me knowing?" She joked, it was funny, how Nighthowl and Maggotscreech were so different, and yet, they were close friends.
