Golden orb traces the Linlithgow patterns, while blinded blue stares at nothingness. I hate not being able to see with my right eye, but I'm not complaining. Besides, mother has no sight at all, so it's not like I'd have much to complain for if I did. Instead, I train my left to see enough for both, flicking where I need it to, as I strain my ears to make up for the lapse. Despite what most might think, my smile beams brighter than the sun, and I wonder briefly if I should venture outside and test my limits. 'Not just yet...But soon enough.' Instead I allow my golden gaze to follow my tail in slightly blurred recognition. This eye is a little fuzzy depending on the light or strain, but it does its job well enough, and as a kit, I'm content with what I have.
Letting out a little mewl of playful excitement, I pounce without warning on the sun's golden Ray's. She doesn't seem to mind, and instead flits her warming fingers over my soft white coat, soothing me with he gentle touch. I purr in delight and mentally thank her for being so kind, before my kitten-like attention span runs out, and I begin hunting another ray of golden sunlight. My tail waves lazily and joyfully at the same time, as red and black rimmed audits swivel attentively, seeking out some company to entertain my kitten self. They do a lot better job that my precious eyes could have, and I follow the sound I'd picked up, kitten curiosity piquing at the thought of a new playmate. I spy the kitten, and offer them a characteristic grin. "Hi there! Wanna play?"

give me time and give me space Whitekit had been watching his sister play around for a while, finding it amusing to watch. Now he himself was no longer like that as he had grown up to be apprentice age- just waiting on his ceremony. However he still enjoyed playing silly games with other kits.
He approached her and heard the words, 'Hi there! Wanna play?'. In response, he nodded and spoke softly, "Sure, what are we going to play?" He asked, a small smile on his black and white face.

A toothy grin lights my face in response to my older brother's response, and I purr in delight, bouncing slightly on the spot. Then I mull over his question and frown, cocking my head to the side like a confused puppy who just wants a treat. I narrow my eyes in what is currently my 'thinking face,' though is more just me scrunching up my face all funny-like while trying to come up with something half decent. Then I shrug, turn a circle on the spot for no reason, and bat him on the muzzle. "Spin three times with your eyes closed, count to ten, then try and find me." I pause, ready to spring away, before pricking my ears at him with a sly grin. "Try and find me like mama would." I wait a second, ensuring he got my rules, before saying "go!" Giggling, and bounding away like a spring lamb.
My golden eye traces the nursery for a second, before I giggle on one side of him, and sneak as quietly as I can past him and out of the den. I refrain from gaping in awe at all the cats bustling around camp as I opt for hiding behind a large boulder-large in comparison to me that is. I do a pretty good job at not giggle as I wait to see if my imaginarily blind brother will find me.

give me time and give me space Whitekit purred, letting out a small chuckle at Flurrykit's 'thinking face', laughing at the funny-looking expression. After a while, he saw her spin around and bat him on the nose- it didn't hurt, but it was a small surprise which made him jump back a little.
He nodded at the instructions given and when she said 'go!' he closed his eyes, spun around three times and counted to ten, feeling rather dizzy after spinning. Once he had finished counting, the black tom-kit walked around, searching for Flurryit, trying to spot her mostly white(?) pelt. He walked around a little, looking under rocks and in dark corners, before searching around another part of camp. There were a few more rocs there.
He walked over to a large-ish boulder and looked behind it, noticing the younger kit, "We-ell hello there." He smirked, proud for finding her.

I grin, before pouting in disappointment at his reason for finding me so quick. "Hey, no fair! I said like mama would, and mama can't see, so you gotta close your eyes." I keep up the pout a second or to longer, before huffing and giving him a gentle, half-hearted cuff over the ears. "Silly mouse" I tease, before my smile instantly betrays me and I'm back to grinning. "My turn, and I'll do it proper I announce, abruptly closing my eyes and spinning three times. When I stop, I stumble slightly in my dizziness but catch myself against the smooth stone and count to ten. "I'm coming to get you Mousey!" I announce, giggling at the new nickname I'd dubbed him.
Without receiving a reply, and having successfully gained my balance, though hardly my sense of direction, I stroll forward with a confidence I shouldn't really have. Said confidence is what leads my to bumping head first into the nursery wall. "Whoops! Wrong way!" I spinning around, my tail hitting to wall, and attempt to follow my nose and ears toward his assumed hiding place.

give me time and give me space "Hey, I didn't realise I had to close my eyes!" Whiteit meowed, realising that when she said 'like mama would' she meant without vision and not taking painfully long to make her feel good. Now he felt like an idiot. He looked at Flurrykit's pout for a while, still not feeling so smart, but was knocked out of his slightly negative thoughts when she cuffed him round the head. "Hey!" He said in response before going off to try and hide, watching as the younger of the two did as he had done previously. He hid between two rocks, the space between them the perfect size for him- it was actually pretty snug.
The black tom couldn't help but grumble a little at the new nickname- but it was kind of cute and he cared about his sibling a lot so didn't bother to complain.
Whitekit couldn't help but laugh loudly when Flurrykit bumped head first into the nursery wall, probably ruining his attempt at hiding... But he couldn't help it, that was funny.

At my brother's loud laughter, I both pouted in mock sadness, and then grinned at the realization that he might as well have yelled, "I'm over here!" Giggling slightly, I awkwardly stumble my way blinding in the direction of the laughter, finding myself to be reasonably alright at following sound. That is until I bump into a rock. Shaking my head, I swerve around in an arc, and successfully collide with yet another one. "Hey! Not cool rocks! They don't seem to take my childish words very seriously, as they don't see fit to move out the way. Huffing, I feel out a path between the before bumping into something else. Wait, rocks don't have fur... I grin at the realization and tap Whitekit on the 'muzzle,' which happens to be the top of his shoulder. "Found ya Mousey!" I inform him matter'o'factly, before opening my eyes and cracking up with laughter, shuffling round to his face and plopping down in front of him.
Without warning, I abruptly flop onto my side and roll onto my back, peering up at my paws that are now stretched above me. "Look! I'm walking on the sky!" I do a convincing motion of upside down walking with my fluffy white paws, pretending to bounce from cloud to cloud before flipping on my tummy and looking at him with as much sincerity as I can muster. "Can the sky cats fly?" It's probably the dumbest question ever, but right now I don't care.

give me time and give me space Once again, Whiteit laughed loudly as Flurrykit bumped intoo yet another two rocks. This was hilarious. Guarenteed, he was a little worried about her possibly hurting her face or somehow squishing her nose in so it was flat, but he couldn't help but chuckle... Until she bashed into him, thinking that he was a rock, "Ack!" He meowed, making a strange noise when his shoulder was tapped.
"Well done," He praised when Flurrykit realised that she had found him, also plopping down on the floor but still staying in his new favourite place between the rocks, not realising that he would soon be too big to fit there. He watched confusedly as the calico she-cat lay down on her back and pretended to be walking on the sy and clouds. He laughed some more- the young kit was definetly the funniest and silliest cat he had ever met.
"I don't know," He replied to her question, truthfully, "Maybe."

He laughs a lot. Like a lot. I swear I must be the weirdest sister ever, but we can roll with it. My golden orb peers up at him and I nod. The sky cats sound cool, but ma says they can't come back, so I'm not sure I wan't to be one. Flying does sound pretty cool though. "I bet they can actually walk on the sky. And they watch us through the gaps in the clouds that the sun shined through. And the stars at night are their eyes." There is actually sincerity in my voice, but it's belied by my thinking face that flutters into a shimmering smile. "Do my eyes look like stars?" I grin at the thought before getting to my paws. "Your turn to pick a game. You know more than me anyways." My tail waves back and forth in the dust, the ginger tip streaking a tail as I bounce from paw to paw. My black and red rimmed audits flicker back and forth as I await his oncoming answer, hoping for something really fun from my near apprentice brother. (OOC: Gotta go to bed now, it's like, past midnight. Night night.)

give me time and give me space -Night night.-
Whitekit nodded, mntally hoping that Flurrykit didn't understand that these cats were dead- he didn't want her to be saddened at the fact that something she seemed to find cool was actually sad. At least those cats were in a nice place. He smiled, as he listened intently to what she was saying, thinking about all the spirits up there. He didn't know any of them personally, but was still slightly upset that most of them probably died early, though they seemed like pretty brave cats to have risked their lives like that, most likely for the sake of their clans.
His piercing blue eyes lit up slightly as he replied to Flurrykit's question about her eyes, "Yes they do look like stars," He continued, "They're beautiful." The dark-furred kit purred, looking into the blind blue one- he couldn't help but feel sorry for her for not having perfect vision... But at least she didn't have to be fully blind like their mother.
Whitekit's long tail swished around in the limited space as he looked up at the calico as she stood. He copied her actions, lifting himself from his laying position and exiting the stuffy space between the two rocks. He gave a small grin when he was told that he could choose a game. Now he wasn't actually bothered about what they played, so he suggested some that he enjoyed, "I don't mind what we play, but I know some games," He spoke, continuing, "We could play warriors or mossball or tag."
"I'm not fussed."

I watch curiously as his eyes light up like the stars we were in such an engaging conversation about. His words don't warm my heart as much as they would someone who was no longer a playful little tyke with a short attention span and too much energy, but they were still touching enough to dawn a sincere smile upon my face, and earn a lick on the cheek before giggling. "You're so sappy, Mousey" But I know well my grin betrays that I actually took the compliment to heart, and I bat my 'pretty' eyes at him playfully.
Of course, my aforementioned attention span runs out of our conversation, and I'm soon trying to chase White's swishing tail as I await his choice of game. Unfortunately, he gives my little indecisive mind three choices, and then points out he doesn't mind. No preference, no sign of which game he'd rather I'd pick, and to top it all off, still leaves it down to me to decide. My thinking face returns in spite of my efforts not to look silly as I decided, but then I realize I don't care what I look like, so I embrace it in all my kitten-ness. "I choose...Warriors!" I grin at him and wave my tail in the air as I bounce on my little white paws. Then stop and tilt my head with dawning confusion. "How do you play?"

give me time and give me space Whitekit scrunched his nose up in mock disgust when Flurrykit licked his cheek, making a small 'blegh' noise. "Hey, I'm not sappy!" He replied, pretending to be upset before he realised that the calico was now playing with his long, black tail. He moved it around a little before moving it to his side when Flurrykit began to decide what game she wanted to play.
Her thinking face still made him laugh a lot, although he tried to hold it in as he thought he was starting to look a bit simple due to his habit of laughing at everything happening. Whitekit grinned at her choice. Warriors was one of the best things kits could play. "Okay, so we're both warriors or deputies or leaders and we fight enemies and stuff," He purred, "I'll be an evil Treeclan warrior, Whitefang, and you can try drive me away from Rockclan." He smiled, moving into a crouching position.

I grin and nod over-enthusiastically at his explanation, wondering what it would actually be like to be a warrior. My ears perk forward with open intrigue, and my tail twitches excitedly as I follow his example and lower myself into a awkward yet equally adorable kitten crouch, my tail waving in the air behind me as I try to force a look of aggression, which is probably rather laughable. "I'm going to be Flurrystar, because a leader isn't afraid to fight her own battles." I circle Whitekit in the best predatory way I can, which actually comes off eerily realistic, though still amusing for a one-eyed cat, as I appear to be looking in two different directions at one, my golden orb trained on his face.
"I'll give you one chance to get away from my territory, Whitefang. Either leave Rockclan's kits alone, or I'll make you." I add the last part with an attempt at a threatening hiss, before spring for him with soft kitten paws, aiming to grapple onto his back and aim a soft kitten bite at his shoulder. I'm only so far away from bursting into giggles, but I manage to keep my head effectively, tugging out my more dramatic side for my most likely terrible acting.

give me time and give me space -I didn't want to reply on phone 'cause my posts have been good but I don't wanna keep you waiting-
Whitekit, or Whitefang as he had named himself, let out a playful growl as he was circled by 'Flurrystar'. He responded to the fake threat in the manliness voice he could muster, "Never! You'll have to fight me away!"
The young tom was knocked off guard for a moment when he felt small kitten paws land on him and tiny teeth gnaw on his shoulder. It tickled a little, but he didn't laugh as he wanted to continue looking like a skilled warrior and not a giggly little kit.
He flicked his long tail and in return, he gently whacked the calico with his black paws, trying to 'fight' back without hurting her.

At his attempt at a manly voice, I'm almost tempted to burst into a fit of giggles. I do break character with an amused smirk, but I play it off 'professionally' like Flurrystar is smirking at his foolishness of thinking she'd let him get away with it. "Suit yourself, Whitefang." I respond with an attempt a sharp edge voice that conveys a mocking tone. It fails.
Instead of purring in delight at my successful attack, I do my best to instead hiss threateningly. I eye his tail swishing, and echo the movement, thought a little more aggressively in my acting as 'Flurrystar.' As his paws bat toward my, one glances off the side of my head despite my dodge attempt. Yet I somehow manage to cling on, and am aware that this move has left his soft underbelly exposed. Keeping my grip as well as I can, I attempt to pummel his belly with my small white hind paws. Making sure to keep my claws carefully sheathed.
"If you wish to stay in one peace, I suggest you leave Rockclan's kits' and run along home." My voice is unfortunately squeakier than my part can handle, but I manage well enough, and even manage a threatening lilt thrown in their. The effect is probably hilarious.
