Static huffed. "Are you implying that you think my family is alive...?" She growled at Patch. She didn't get angry easily. Usually frustrated and annoyed, but she didn't like the implications that Patch was making. "It's a reputation that's been failing! A while back Dove wanted cats to fight her for a promotion!" She protested. "If we weren't fighters then why'd she ask us to fight?!"

Patch stood still. She could feel guilt piercing through her again, she probably didn't make the best choice of words. A few seconds after Static's last comment, the she-cat unsheathed her claws and tore off the cobwebs from her eyes, not minding the blood that ran down her face.
"Fine. But if your gonna fight someone then we're having a rematch."

Static huffed. "No way!" She growled. "You're all messed up and stuff." She pointed out. True, her claws were itching for a fight... But she wanted to win or lose in a fight that wasn't against someone who was injured. "There's a lot of cats to fight in Deathclan."

"I'm not messed up..." Patch replied softly, narrowing her eyes. Should she even try..? Well, a lot of cats hate her already, how much does another one hurt? Besides, the kid was literally asking for it. She raised her tail and slashed at Static.

Static growled as she rolled to the side, managing to come back out on her paws. "Your face is literally covered in blood!" She protested. "Of course you're messed up!" She exclaimed. She wasn't an idiot. She could tell that Patch really should put more cobwebs on her face... Somehow they had stopped the bleeding, not that it made any sense to Static. She needed to go find someone else to fight who wasn't horribly injured.
In case Patch attacked again, Static turned tail and shot off.

Patch blinked at her paw, it wasn't covered in blood. She sighed a small relief. The white and black she-cat stood still and watched Static run off. What in the name of Cloudclan was she doing? She sat down and called out, "Only with my mind, kid!" She started licking her wounds, which had opened due to her sudden movements.
