It occurs to Ivy perhaps a moment too late that in order to still be alive, Darya must be able to take care of herself, yet even so, she feels like she could have made more of an effort to keep her there, and to convince her to think about joining a clan. She doesn't say a goodbye as much as just nod in understanding, though truthfully, she doesn't quite understand. "If you say so," she says, quietly, though even that isn't really a goodbye. Ivy isn't good with goodbyes. She's never had to give one.
Besides, she still shouldn't care about what happens to Darya. She's not part of her Clan, and they'll likely never meet again, so it would be irrelevant to worry, anyway. With another small sigh, Ivy makes her way back up the haystack to the windowsill, glancing back to watch Darya leave. Eventually, she makes it out of Ivy's field of sight, leaving her with an odd ache in her chest. She feels a little more hollow. She shakes her head, cursing her stupid emotions, and heads inside.
