Amberpaw blinks rapidly at his words. A little awkward. Things were a little awkward... being with her... yes, she got it. She got what he was implying, without him really trying to imply it. It was Amberpaw's fault. She was the one making him nervous, and making him awkward. Ravenpaw didn't want to be here right now. She couldn't blame him. Amberpaw's mouth open to suggest Ravenpaw leave, that it was okay for him not to want to be around her. It IS okay. It's perfectly okay for him not to like me. And not to want to talk to me. I just make things awkward-- he doesn't want to be in public with me. I get it, he doesn't have to sugar coat anything.
Even his next words further proved she was right in that thought. Ravenpaw is too nice to outright tell me off. He's trying to make things okay between us, but I get it... I do.... "We can... hang out some other time, then. I wouldn't want things to be awkward." But Amberpaw knew. They wouldn't hang out again. Ravenpaw wouldn't want to, obviously.
