SkyCalli walked through the forest, her wide eyes wandering mindlessly through the trees. She bit her lip and shook her head. It was too late in the cold day, no prey was out. To bad, she had really been hoping to catch a rabbit. She turned around and started heading back to her den to get something from her pile there. She had plannedd on saving it for leafbare, but she might as well eat some now. She tilted her head towards a motion in the corner of her eye and sniffed the air. Not prey, but rather a cat. "Hello?" she asked, not sure if the cat was hostile or not.

Sky stalked through the forest, her head low. She clenched a small, scrawny mouth in her mouth, her claws digging into the leaf strewn floor. She had been lucky to catch anything, so she would have to watch out for any predators. Her nose twitched at the scent of another cat, ears flicking back across her head. She slowly stalked forward, hoping she wouldn't be noticed. She bit back a squeak of surprise as her paw hooked on a tree root, tumbling ungracefully to the ground. She hissed in annoyance as a 'Hello' was called out, dropping her mouse in a pile of leaves. " Hello." he greeted casually, keeping herself far away so she wasn't seen. This cat didn't need to know she was blind, not yet atleast.

"Are you ok?" she asked, taking a step forwards as she relised the other cat had fallen. "I really didn't mean to scare you if I did." she added, not close enough to see much of the other cat, but not taking another step forward for fear of being attacked. She sat cautiously to show that she herself wasn't a threat.

" I'm fine." Sky hissed, flattening her ears to her head. She relaxed as she heard the stranger sit, taking in a deep breath. If she didn't step out it would seem incredibly creepy, so she slid out of the shadows calmly. She fluffed her fur out to appear bigger, keeping her head high despite the long gouging claw marks over the deep indents where her eyes should be. " What's your name?"

(Sorry, I thought I had responded...)
Calli's eyes, already iologically big, widened when she noticed the other cat didn;t havve any eyes, but she didn't say anything about it. "I'm Calli. Are yo sure you didn't hurt yoursekf when you fell?" she asked, her voice a completely innocent tone.

(All good)
" I'm sure." Sky hissed, growing annoyed. She took a few more confident steps forward, although she kept her paws low to the ground, brushing them along the leaves encase she came across a branch. " I'm Sky, not that you asked." She responded dryly.

Sky nodded slowly, her tail swaying behind her. She didn't suppose this cat was a threat, so she sat slowly on her haunches. " So.... Calli." She tested out the name, letting it roll off her tongue. " What are you doing out here?" She questioned, trying to make conversation.

Calli shrugged. "I was out hunting. Just headed back to my den acctually." she said, standing up so she could walk around inn ailmless circle. She found this had become a habbit, and it didn't really effect her, so she never bothered trying to stop. "You?"

" Did you manage to catch anything?" Sky questioned, trying her best to sound polite. She didn't need any enemies, so she had started to watch herself a little more." Same, though I only managed to catch a mouse." She admitted, though she didn't bother grabbing it. She didn't want her prey to be stolen.

Calli shrugged. "Not much of anything." she responded. "That's ok though, I have enough stockpiled for the coming leaf bare."

" Really?" Sky couldn't help feel a tinge of pride considering that she, a small blind cat, had managed to catch something. " You stocked up for winter? Wont most of the prey go bad....?" She tilted her head, smirking slightly.

Calli considered that for a moment. "I don't think so." she said cautiously. "I stockpiled it in a place ner a pond that should be cool enoguh for it no to go bad, plus when I eat, I eat from it and replace with new food. Most of it shouldn't go bad. I'm not suret hough because swamp water here is a bit different than what it wass where I used to live."

Sky shrugged blandly, flicking her ears forward. " Whatever helps you sleep at night. But if you ask me, it as a pretty stupid idea." She stated bluntly, really not caring if she hurt her feelings. Prey would go back and turn into crowfood if she kept it too long, even if it was by a river.

"Why?" she tilted her head, "Other than the crowfood thing. I already have to many ssystems in place to avoid that."
