Patch sighed, whelp, here does nothing. "Um... If you do see them again, tell them Nighthowl says hello." She meowed bluntly. "Sorry if I make you uncomfortable after saying that..." She drew herself back and scratched her already scarred paw from former experiences.

"W-What?" She stared at her, eyes widening. "Why would I say that if..." 'If Nighthowl's dead.' It didn't make any sense. She shook her head when Patch spoke again. "No, you're fine. I just don't understand."

Patch glanced down at the ground, her ears flattened again. "Um... I'm Nighthowl... I guess. At least, that's what Pain or Blackpaw said." She answered, turning her gaze away, she didn't want to see Rainlight's expression, she was too afraid it was going to be bad.

"How is that... Why is that..." She didn't know what to say. What could you say to something like that? She looked Patch up and down again, sighing. The similarities were crazy. Maybe they really were the same person. Maybe CloudClan had given Nighthowl another chance. "Well... I'm glad you're okay." She said softly, now wearing a faint smile.

"I don't know... But thanks..." Patch stood taller, her tail started flicked. She felt like she was back in the nursery, small and mischievous. She sighed a little, "How has the nursery been?.. Kits keeping you on your paws?" She smiled softly.

Rainlight chuckled quietly when Patch asked about the nursery. 'This is so weird...' And it was even odder that there wasn't a doubt in her mind that this cat wasn't Nighthowl. "It's been good... I haven't had too many kits lately, but I like watching Fawnskip's." She cocked her head. "What's been going on with you?"

Patch laughed quietly, "Heh." She meowed tersely.
The she-cat sighed as she was asked about what she was doing. She wanted to tell the whole story, but she didn't think Rainlight would accept it. She shrugged and replied casually, "Nothing much, I've been hanging around the barn lately, met a few Iceclan cats there."

"Oh?" Her ears perked up in interest. 'And the IceClanners just let you hang out there?' "I didn't know they were staying in a barn. Are they all okay?" It was pretty insane to watch the avalanche happen from the prairie. It was hard to believe that anyone survived.

Patch flattened her ears, glancing at the ground. "Um... Most of them are okay... Riverpaw told me two cats died though..." She murmured, just shivering at the thought. "But the barn is pretty nice, pretty big, Iceclan has been getting better." She informed.

"Oh no..." She gasped a little, wondering who could have died. 'That's such a sad way to go, to be crushed by snow.' She sighed. "Well, at least their numbers are growing. Hopefully they'll move back to their territory soon."

Patch stood in a moment of silence, sending good luck to Cloudclan. She twitched as she imagined the dull lifeless bodies. "They have lots of little ones to keep them going, I honestly hope they leave soon as well."

Rainlight smiled. "That's good to hear." She wondered why Patch was hanging out at the barn. Didn't non-clanners think clan cats were gross? 'Then again, I guess she used to be a clanner...' The queen shook her head to herself. The fact that they were the same person would never stop being odd. "Do you have many friends?"

Patch flicked an ear, drifting to thought at Rainlight's question. "Um... I don't know how many friends count as 'many'. But I do have Pain, Natalia, Riverpaw, and possibly Icelily to hang out with. Guess I could hang around some others too, but I don't know them too well." She explained. Now that she thought of it, she seemed to be in a strange situation when she met somebody.

Patch drifted her gaze away from the queen, her ears twitched. "Um... I personally have very mixed feelings about Deathclan, I guess it's based on who is in the clan whoever is leading it at the time... We sorta have a thing for leadership since Drought was killed." She responded, shrugging.
