Patch was hawk hunting yet again. It really should be a living of hers.
She was walking across the lands of Deathclan. her ears pricked up and her eyes open wide. She was scared to be doing this, but she had to do it, it made her feel great, like she avenged something. She felt a pain in her neck and continued onwards, her paws feeling heavy on the ground. She could feel the cold chill of the new Autumn flow by, making her tail twitch.
Patch's ears perked sideways as she scented another cat, her whiskers twitched. "Hello?" She asked casually into the nothingness, waiting for a reply slowly.

Natalia was wandering around, as she did whenever she wasn't talking to Jude pretty much. Or anyone really. She imagined that was how most cats operated... Aside from that Static kid who probably just jumped anyone they could find instead of talking.
Then she blinked. "Uh... Patch? It's just me." She reassured the other she-cat.
She wasn't sure she and Patch were friends exactly, like herself and Jude... But she felt like they were on decent enough terms. Their relationship could worse. Patch could hate her. For some reason, Natalia didn't really feel like she was one to hate. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of that, if she was being honest.

A small smile appeared on Patch face, she was glad it was a cat she got along with, at least. She waved her tail in greeting and replied, "Hey Natalia." She wasn't sure what the heck was with their relationship, whether it was an odd friendship or just acquaintances. Eh, the other she-cat might know. Patch noticed the scars on Natalia's body, were they new? She shook the thought away.
"... Um. You want to go hawk hunting?"

Natalia's face curved in the slightest of awkward smiles. She wasn't really one to show positive emotions outwardly in general. Then Patch seemed to focus on something else but then she shook her head. She probably saw Natalia's new scars... Ones that she had no intention of explaining.
"Hawk hunting?" She frowned. "Cats don't hunt hawks. We stay away from them."

Patch blinked, deep in her mind agreeing with Natalia. She laughed a bit at her smile and explained, "I... I sorta like to kill them, so they don't hurt anybody like they did to..." She trailed off, and chuckled awkwardly, "Heh, rambling again. Um... How are you doing?"

Sounded like Patch had been personally offended by a hawk. Natalia wasn't sure who Patch knew that had been hurt by a hawk... But it must've been a serious injury plus someone extremely close to Patch. Was it Pain? She wasn't sure. She was reasonably sure that her entire time she'd been here, Pain had those scars. Patch and Natalia weren't too far apart in age, and Pain's scars had been old from the start.
It couldn't have been Pain. Then who...? Well, maybe she'd find out. Maybe not. She wasn't one to invade privacy generally. She shrugged. "Fine."

Patch got nervous as Natalia just stood there, was the other she-cat judging her? She didn't ask. Her black tail twitched and she smiled faintly at her response, "Great." She murmured. Silence. She blinked and sighed, "Has Jude been fine? Haven't seen him in a while... And yeah..." She trailed off, her eyes drifting off into space as she waited for a reply.

Natalia gave a humorless smile. "If I were you, I'd steer clear of him. Last I checked, he hates your guts. But otherwise he's fine." She answered. She sighed. "I don't know why. I don't really think I've ever hated anyone before... So I can't even really guess if I'm being perfectly honest." She cleared her throat. "What about you?"

Patch lowered her ears, blinking slowly. "Um... That's good, and I don't blame him for hating me, I've done things even I think are stupid when I think back. And I've never really hated anybody before, sure I get mad, but not hatred." She meowed.
"As for me, I've gotten better and worse." Patch retorted. "My wounds healed, Pain's off to kill his father, I'm feeling complicated about Riverpaw. Yep, seems like your everyday drama around here."
(Why am I trying to RP after watching the most feels-stabbing episodes of SU, wtf.)

((I dunno. Watch as I try to RP cats while there's Undertale pounding in my ears and my brain is stuffed with Marvel lol))
Natalia sighed. "Patch. Really. You're not that bad. You don't deserve to be hated." She told the other she-cat. "Even if you made some... Mistakes... They can be forgiven. You know what, I don't even know what they are but I'm going to forgive them anyway. You're not someone who deserves hate."
Natalia gave a wry smile. "I see what you mean. I ran into Pain, when he was just beginning his murderquest."
((Pain's on a quest to fulfill his murderlust for his Dad lol))
((Also, amazingly... Natalia hides this part of her for the most part, but is INCREDIBLY forgiving to those she genuinely likes. While all the while she kind of doesn't like herself very much.))

Patch opened her mouth to argue, but stopped. She shouldn't argue about herself, that would make Natalia's nice speech seem pointless. "... Thanks." She smiled. She thought about how Pain was doing. Was he okay? She laughed, "I seriously can't help but worry about Pain, he became more grumpy and stubborn once a hawk killed his lover. He's going to go kill his father and I'm just afraid he'll get caught up in his head and do something very stupid."
(Aw, Patchy worries. Also, we shall chant as he marches home.)

Natalia didn't say anything about Patch opening and closing her mouth. It was clear that Patch didn't agree. That was alright... For now. She was damn sure if some cat gave her the same speech, even if it was Jude... She wouldn't believe it. She'd insist she was the terrible one. Because truly? She was.
Natalia sighed. "I get what you mean..." She murmured softly. She didn't want to elaborate because that would mean confiding in Patch about Thomas. She didn't want to think about him. It hurt too much. It confused her too much. It just made her feel worse in general, like she wanted to go to sleep and never wake up.
((ohgod why do patch and natalia not like themselves so much))

(They hate themselves save them ;- Patch sighed. She didn't react much to Natalia's response. Bloody images clouded her head, but she could still notice the negativity in her voice. She laughed, as if trying to lighten the mood. "Guess we have something in common?" She cracked a smile Still, her mind drifted. She imagined dogs ripping Pain into regretful scars, of Stormpaw's sad expression, of Maggotscreech alone and angry. She stopped and snapped back to reality in desperation as she saw the casual smile of Nighthowl turn twisted. (Edgy.)

((.... it gets kind of confusing when you're talking about kits/apprentices in the clans because it's very likely they share a name with someone else
Natalia shook her head, though she had a faint smile on her face. Patch seemed to use humor as part of her defense against... A lot of things. Natalia was reasonably sure she glared at people or used sarcasm to get people to not see past it to see her hurt.
Then Patch seemed to space out. Then she suddenly seemed to be back in the moment a bit too... Fiercely. She didn't seem alright. "... Patch? You alright?"

(Oh. I'm just gonna refer to her as Stormy I guess now idk .u.)
Patch stared blankly at Natalia, her smile faded. "Y-Yeah. My head just gets creative when thinking about stuff." She replied, "I kinda scare myself with it, I don't know." She shrugged, edging away from her thoughts and more into the conversation in front of her face.
