[Natalia]

Natalia got the feeling that Jude didn't think much of her answer. She shrugged. "Eh." She replied. 

Then she thought about Jude's question. "Hm... Last I saw him.... I think he'd just started on his spectacular murderquest of blood and vengeance™️." She answered, sarcasm and slight amusement leaking through her voice.

Jude laughed, giving her a confused look along with it. "His what?" Pain seemed totally fine the last time he talked to him.

"Whatever it is, that sounds so fun. I hope he has a great time."

[Natalia]

Natalia gave Jude a look of amusement. She was glad to see him laugh. It suited him more than... Well, anything negative really. "Yeah, I think he wanted to kill his crappy dad." She explained.

Though... Considering Natalia had little to no interest in vengeance, she didn't think it sounded fun. She could technically go and try to kill Thomas. She probably could, if she wanted. In that attack... She'd seen him coming. Every time. She probably could've bested him... But she didn't want to.

"Oh. Good for him." Jude didn't know what parents were like, but he was pretty sure that they weren't supposed to get along with their kit. At least, a lot of DeathClanners didn't get along quite well with their parents, so he assumed it was supposed to be that way. 'I hope Pain gets all the satisfaction he wants.'

He looked around at their surroundings, getting a good look at the scenery. Even though DeathClan had a lot of different elements to it, most of the territory just seemed... dark. Still, it was the only place he could call home. For now, anyway. He looked back to Natalia. "Do you see yourself living here for the rest of your life?"

[Natalia]

Natalia shrugged. "I have no idea if he'll get what he needs from it, but I hope he does." She answers sincerely. She wasn't sure she'd ever get what she needed from Thomas, all he seemed to be offering was death.... And she wasn't quite suicidal. She wasn't scared of death, but she wouldn't be looking for it either.

Then she noticed Jude looking around. Her eyes scanned around as well. "Huh? .... Well, sure." She answered. She'd never really had a problem with the territory of Deathclan and to her... It was home. She wasn't sure she really wanted to leave.

He nodded in response. Sure, it was home and all, but he had a feeling that there was somewhere better out there. 'Somewhere that doesn't have the word "death" in its name.'

Jude flicked his tail behind him. Going out and exploring the land was tempting, but even if he did decide to leave, he couldn't just yet. He was really curious to see what would happen with DeathClan's leadership. If Pain really did become leader like he said he would, then he didn't think DeathClan's future was all that bright. 'Guess we'll just have to see.'

[Natalia]

Natalia got the feeling that Jude was thinking. He didn't respond either than nodding his head. Aaaand now he was being silent and flicking his tail. She tilted her head as she eye Jude.

"Jude? You're kind of spacing out." She commented. What was he thinking about? ... Perhaps he didn't feel as strongly about Deathclan as she did. She thought the name sounded kind of stupid honestly, but hey. Don't judge a book by its cover and all that. She wasn't sure what was going on in Jude's head, but she figured he was probably thinking about Deathclan's less than stellar place as being a home.

He met her gaze when she addressed him, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry about that..." He trailed off, then chuckled a bit. "Your sister told me the same thing, y'know. Maybe I space out more than I think."

It'd been awhile since he'd met with Nightpaw. She had to be a warrior by now. 'I wonder how she's holding up.' She was one interesting cat, that was for sure. 'I wouldn't mind seeing her again.'

[Natalia]

Natalia gave a ghost of a smile. "Don't worry about it, Jude." Then she blinked. Suddenly it was kind of awkward. Jude was speaking of a literal stranger as her sister.... It was kind of weird.

She didn't even know what she was like.

"Alright." His sheepish smile brightened up into a happier one. 'Still... I need to stop doing that. I can tell it's annoying.'

Jude watched Natalia quietly. He could tell she was thinking about something. 'Maybe I shouldn't have brought up Nightpaw.' "Something wrong?"

[Natalia]

Natalia sighed fondly. She really did enjoy Jude's smile. It fit him. It really was... Him. More than the anger she'd remembered in the past. Then he got quiet.

She sighed again. ".... It's just...." She looked away. "It's fine. Nothing to worry about." Her voice lost some of the spark it had regained after she'd met Jude. It was clear she was not going to open up about it.

His smile faded away when she sighed. He could tell that she wasn't actually fine. This time he was a little more sure of it. "Natalia...?" He asked, trying to meet her gaze.

"It's fine. Nothing to worry about."

He sighed. 'As if I'll believe that.' He decided not to go into it. "I'm always here if you need anything."

[Natalia]

Natalia didn't want to meet Jude's eyes. She sighed again. "Yeah.... I know." She replied quietly. She didn't feel much like talking if this was the subject they were stuck on.

He frowned slightly. 'What's going through her head?' "Was it something I said?" 'I'm an idiot for bringing up Nightpaw.' He looked down at his paws. "I'm sorry."

[Natalia]

Natalia sighed. "It's fine, Jude. Drop it." She replied quietly. "I think I've mentioned before that I don't like to talk about my family."
