Rainlight headed over to the apprentices' den with a yawn. She hoped Hazelpaw would be ready. "Hazelpaw, let's go. Make sure to eat if you haven't yet." She said, padding back and taking a seat. She had high hopes for her kin. 'I think she'll pass this time.'

[Hazelblaze]

Hazelpaw emerged from the den and with out a word and headed out of camp.

[Rainlight]

Rainlight sighed and followed after her, quickly catching up and taking the lead.

She stopped on top of a hill and turned to Hazelpaw. "Same rules as before. Meet me here no later than sunhigh." She then took a seat and waited for her to leave.

[Hazelblaze]

Hazelpaw left. She was so sad, she didn't make a peep. To wee to St on a twig or even seem a threat. Suddenly she almost stumbled apron a rabbit which she killed instantly. Suddenly a wave of hope hit her. She could do this she just had to do the same thing.

Yet again she silently moved through the grass. Se stumbled apron two voles in no time!

Grabbing her kill she dashed back to Rainlight.

[Rainlight]

Rainlight waited patiently with her eyes closed, ears peeking up at the sound of approaching pawsteps. She opened her eyes to see Hazelpaw, and a warm pure erupted in her throat. "I knew you could do it!" She exclaimed, waiting for the apprentice to drop her prey before they began the battle portion.

Once it looked like Hazelpaw was somewhat ready, Rainlight raced forward and tried to tackle her down. "You have to pin me down to win!"

[Hazelblaze]

This was much easier. Hazelpaw was a pro fighter. She slid over to Rainlight's side quickly dodging Rainlight's sprint. She then attempted to leap on the shecat from the side.

[Rainlight]

Rainlight slid into the dirt with a cough, but scrambled up quick enough to dodge Hazelpaw's attack. She then tried to swipe her tail underneath Hazelpaw's belly, hoping to trip her up.

[Hazelblaze]

Hazelpaw leapt up over Rainlight's paw and aimed for her side.
