The late leaf-fall sun ascended above the horizon, obscured now only by the few clouds that floated about the sky. Redfang felt a deep contentment at the sight, as was always the case when a new day was born. The silence of near-dawn was replaced by the quiet sounds of early morning, and the ruddy warrior took this as his cue to wake his apprentice. He poked his head into the apprentices' den and, after taking a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, he found a now-familiar black pelt. " DarkPaw, up-and-at-'em," he called out, just loud enough to be heard in the quiet of the den, then turned and made his way back towards the entrance to the camp.

He flicked his ears annoyed to be awoken. He grumbled to him self, as he stood and stalked out of the den. He narrowed his eyes as the morning light blinded him. "Ugh stuipd sun" He growled more to him self than anything. He shifted looking up at his mentor. "What kind of crazy training you got in store for me today?" He gave a small smile. Though it would have passed more as a smirk. He looked red up and down. Strange thing was he felt connected to Redfang... Dark had never had a father figar and Red was the closest thing he had to that. Though of course he would never say anything.

Redfang returned Darkpaw's smirk with a wicked grin, mischief dancing in his gaze. "That's a secret," he replied deviously; he didn't really have anything out of the ordinary planned for the day, most likely just a bit of hunting, but it was in Redfang's nature to tease, so tease he did. He turned and began to walk in the direction of the camp exit, calling, "Come along, apprentice," as he did so. The day was sunny and the temperature mild; there was a strong breeze, but this could work in their favor if they were smart about choosing where to hunt. After passing through the exit, it was a short walk to a small dip in the ground that Redfang preferred to use for training, and when he and Darkpaw reached it, he strode into the center and promptly sat. "Show me what you know about hunting," the warrior said without preamble, and then he focused his attention on his apprentice, waiting to see what Darkpaw would do.

"Oh great," he said with an exasperated voice. He followed RedFang as he was commanded to do so. As they went a ways from camp. Dark had a hard time concentrating, so much had happened since his last meeting with Red him and his father had it out.. Silverwhisker.. clearly didn't have anything to do with him... He sighed and shook his head, barely hearing the command given. He didn't make a snarky retort just crouched into a well practiced hunting stance. He looked up "Well?"
