(Doesn't matter to me, but I was thinking maybe we could have a thread after the fight between Ash and Pain and maybe Sky could help out with the eye injury thing if you're up for it)
Sky flicked her ears back. "No idea who that it." She shrugged, tail curling neatly around her paws. "Really? Because I have never even caught your scent when I first got here." Sky stated flatly.

Ash Ash huffed, "DeathClan is probably a lot bigger than you think, then," she mewed, "And alright, I did travel for a bit, but I've been here for the most part."

Notes - Sounds like a good idea, maybe the thread could take place straight after, since she did probably run into a bunch of things and crash somewhere outside of DeathClan

(Yeah, makes sense)
Sky snorted, her claws digging into the dirt underneath her. "Yeah, I'm sure it is." She stretched out her front legs, gnawing on her tongue. "You any good at hunting?" She questioned.

Ash Ash huffed, "I'm alive and fit, right?" she asked, "I have to be, since I provide my own food."

(I think they should interact a bit more here first, if that's alright with you)
Sky rolled her shoulders back, nodding. "Good, because we're hunting together." Sky moved forward without another word, nose twitching. "Tell me if you catch any scents."

Ash Ash huffed, "Really now? You think you can just-" she stopped, realized that was her goal after all, and maybe teaming up, may get them both more food. "Alright, lead the way." The dark grey tabby let her mouth open, to get the most luck in finding a scent.

Sky grinned once she got what she wanted, surprised when the feline told her to lead the way. 'Let a blind cat take the lead, makes sense.' Sky huffed in amusement at her thoughts, pressing herself low to the ground as a scent hit her. Hawk. She wasn't sure how experienced Ash was with hunting such a large creature, and she had never done it in winter, but it was worth a shot. Sky flicked her tail, signalling for her to stay quiet as she pressed herself into the snow. "Go a few tail lengths forward and play dead." Sky ordered, digging her claws into the snow,

Ash Ash huffed,"What? Play dead?" she whispered in an odd tone. She stared put for a while, then the smell hit her. Never caught one.. She'll probably just let me get carried off, if it's big enough, she thought. But the food.. she countered, and decided to move forward slowly, before laying down with shallow breathing, but kept her senses alert.

Sky only shoved her forward at her response, shaking out her fur as she made herself comfortable. She strained her ears at the sound of Ash laying down, head tilted slightly up as she waited. A few minutes passed by, and she was almost convinced the bird hadn't seen Ash. Her muscles flexed, ready to stand when the sound of powerful wings swishing through the air hit her ears. She pressed herself further into the ground, pinpointing the sound to its owner. She slowly moved forward as it got lower, counting silently in her head. She didn't want to accidently jump when it was too high, or worse, let it carry away her hunting buddy. She suddenly sprang forward, just barely missing its wing and landing awkwardly on its back. She clamped her jaws around the hawks neck, digging her claws into its back as she clung on tightly to it. If Ash didn't attack with her, it wouldn't be hard for the bird to carry her off.

Ash Ash huffed, closing her eyes tight. I just got to wait now.. she thought, then heard noise suddenly, and opened her eyes. She jumped up to see Sky attacking the bird, and she thought it would be smart to go for the wing. She clamped her jaws near the base of one of the wings, and tried to rake her claws down it.

Sky struggled to keep her grip firmly on the back of the feathery beasts neck, her tail lashing wildly for balance. She flicked her ears forward as it tipped to the side, assuming Ash had taken position on its left wing. With the both of them the bird fell back to the ground, though continued lashing its wings in an attempt to take flight.

Ash What Ash did next, was attempt to grab hold of the bird's left foot, while still holding onto the wing. She didn't know exactly why she had done this, but she just hoped it would end it quicker.

Sky took her chance as the bird focused on Ash, its neck twisting to try and grab at her. She lunged forward, getting a better grip on the underside of its neck and twisting her jaw in one swift motion. The bird let out a last noise of pain before collapsing onto the ground. Sky was still clinging to it, and didn't have enough time to jump off before it fell like she usually did. Instead, Sky rolled to the side last second so the bird couldn't crush her, springing back onto her paws.

Ash Ash felt relieved as the bird was weaker, and collapsed while she was on top of it. She stumbled and slid off of it before breathing heavily, That was.. tiring...

Sky twitched her nose, moving closer to the bird. She wasn't very tired, though it did leave her out of breath for a few moments. Sky was in shape, and she made sure to stay like that. It came in handy when hunting or fighting. "Thanks." She muttered, plucking feathers off the birds neck before she began eating.
