Yeah... Natalia's social skills in general were lacking. She had always been holding a rather cynical view of the world, seeing possibilities of death rather than survival usually. This took a toll on her ability to comfort others.
Then Patch changed the topic with a slash of her tail. She wondered how to answer this. She sighed. She decided to be truthful. "All the time." She answered. She figured it might be... Less of a strange conversation if they were closer together. She stood up and leaped between the branches, until she landed on the lowest possible branch that was stable enough to stand on. Then she lay down on the branch. This was a much closer distance than before.

Patch's ears twitched as she watched Natalia make her way down the branches of the large tree. She took a long pause before she replied. "Me too. Like, what are Pain or Jude doing? Hell, what is Stormy doing." She spoke the last bit to herself. Patch considered Stormy as a long lost friend.

Natalia wasn't 100% sure on how Jude felt about Patch, but she was reasonably sure the tabby didn't like Patch. At all. So... It was interesting that the feeling wasn't reciprocated. Somehow, Patch cared enough to think about Jude.
She heard a third name that Patch muttered, that sounded... Bormy? Nah, that didn't sound like a real name. But then again... What with twolegs naming their kittypets weird things, perhaps...? Best not to read too much into it.
"I get what you mean...."

Patch shrugged, flicking her ears. Silence grew fast, long moments of just nothing. The she-cat didn't know what else to say, nothing truly on her mind. A small bud of thought then grew. Patch flicked her tail about. "Um... Do you think we're friends? I never really got our relationship at all." She murmured.

Natalia was intelligent. There was no doubt about that. She was extremely perceptive and extremely cynical, questioning most things about cats she met. But....
Social issues? That was something that a brick wall would be better at. Natalia shrugged. "... No idea. I'm not exactly good at relationship things. If a friendship happens... It sort of happens. I'm never trying. Even then I'm rather bad at it." She explained, offering basically zero help on Patch's question.

Patch blanked out, her eyes wide and an awkward smile on her face. "I didn't catch any of that." She commented, shuffling her paws. She wasn't much for thinking. Did Natalia not know or something.

Natalia sighed as Patch seemed to miss the entire point. "I don't have a clue." She told her bluntly. She really should've lead with that. It was too tiresome trying to explain things to cats properly....
