 Hazelclaw Hazelclaw nodded and turned to face her, "Just a reminder.. watch the claws," he said. "Most common move are used with our front paws, such as swiping or jabbing at your opponent. Then they're stuff like pinning them, or kicking if you're on your back."
The tabby demonstrated a few front paw moves, swiping and smacking the air from different directions, "Try to practice a bit, and get the feeling of it."

Shiningpaw nodded, but had a bit of trouble sgetting it at first, but after a feew tries she thought she had gotten it. "Like that?" she asked.

Shiningpaw nodded and struck behind his knee, figuring that was always the weakst place when she was playing warriors as a kit, but also knowing it probably wouldn't do much to help her knock an acctual warrior off balance.

Hazelclaw Hazelclaw moved a bit, his reflexes behind his knee making him move, but he stayed up. He nodded in approval, that that was a good way. "Try again," he mewed.

Shiningpaw was surprised when it acctually worked, even if just a littlee. She thought for a moment before trying again, but harder. She really ha no clue what other tactics would work.

Hazelclaw Hazelclaw felt as his leg landed on the ground, and the rest of him went with it, as he didn't really expect it. The male felt impressed as he got up, almost embarrassed, but that was the plan for her. "On your free time, you can practice battling, and catch prey."
The tom watched as the sky felt dark, and he nodded, "I believe it's good to go back.. you did pretty good," he said, attempting to seem like a good mentor. He wasn't a very good father, but mentoring could be his thing. The tom nodded, before leading the way back to camp.
