Brightpaw shrugged. "Maybe." She meowed. "I don't mind what name I get either, as long as it's not exceedingly dumb sounding. Like... Brightnose. It sounds like a weird name to me."

Foxpaw smiled faintly at Brightpaw. "Brightnose does sound strange... And Brightstripe, it's fun to say but it's strange." He shrugged, chuckling a bit. "You have any ideas of what your warrior name could actually be?"

Brightpaw shrugged. "Not a clue." She answered. Then she thought about it for a time. "... Maybe... Brightwing?" She tried.

Foxpaw shrugged back. "Brightwing sounds nice, and I hope you earn that name. And if you're gonna ask me the same question, I might as well save the time and say maybe Foxrunner or Foxtail." He laughed, tail twitching.

Brightpaw chanced a faint smile. "Thanks, Foxpaw. I hope you earn the name you wished for as well."

Foxpaw chuckled a bit and straightened his posture. "Much appreciated." He purred. He paused for a moment and laughed silently to himself. "You got any toms in mind?" He joked, trying to carry the conversation.

Brightpaw flattened her ears. "Not really my thing." She responded, giving Foxpaw a certain 'look.' The judgemental kind, though it was thankfully mild.

Foxpaw laughed to himself and didn't think too much about the look Brightpaw gave him. He had become less sensitive in his time alone, so he didn't really think of what others thought of him. "I was just teasing... Sorta. I'm the opposite, funny enough." He smiled.

((Poor Foxpaw D:
Brightpaw flattened her ears. ".... It wasn't funny." She hissed, her fur beginning to bristle. She hated it when cats made fun at others' expense.

((Why do all my innocent children grow so sad ;~;
Foxpaw stared at her blankly for a second. He sighed. "Sorry. I may have worded it wrong." He said casually. He noticed the bristling fur and glanced to the side. Even though he was less sensitive, he still didn't like the feel of hostility.

Brightpaw flattened her ears. "... I want you to be honest. Are you backpedaling on what you said because it upset me, or do you genuinely think you worded it wrong, independent of my reaction?" She asked, a sharp accusing edge to her tone.

Foxpaw still had his gaze fixed to the side. He lowered his ears. "Well, I don't like to upset cats... And I kind of just realized how bad it was worded." He tried to laugh at his stupidity, but it came out as just a dry breath of air.

Brightpaw figured it was a mix between the two. Still. It just.... It was just excuses. She looked away, an angry expression on her face.

Foxpaw lowered his ears. "Sorry." He murmured after Brightpaw turned her head away. "I know the routine by now, I should go now before I make it worse." He added. He turned around and lifted his paws, walking slowly away.

Brightpaw's tail twitched. ".... Yeah. I kind of want to be alone now." Mostly, she wanted the opportunity to cool off. She found that alone time did wonders for her mood and temperament. ".... Maybe we can...." She started, but by the time she looked back at Foxpaw, he was gone, out of earshot. Her ears dropped and she sighed.
"Okay then." She began dragging her paws along the ground as she moved in the opposite direction.
((End I suppose.
