Ember rolled her eyes. "Mm... Her name is Icy. I don't think she'd be stupid enough to allow some idiot access to her eyes." Besides, if things seemed to be tipping out of the white-furred she-cat's favor... Ember was not above interfering and tipping the scales. This wasn't the clans, there was no honor to be found in Deathclan. 

"Patch, huh. Perhaps one day your name will mean something to someone whose never even met you."

Patch blinked, "Icy, huh? Maybe I'll run into her one day." She shrugged. "And I honestly hope so, that's kinda the only reason I'm here now." She shrugged. In all honesty, she preferred the barn more than anything else. Patch's mind slowly got clouded with thought.

"So, you have any plans for the future..?"

Ember hummed in response. "Nah. Not really. I came back for curiosity's sake. Though, now I'm here... I'm just thinking I'll stick around. Haven't thought about it further than that."

((JEEZ. Now I sincerely want Patch to at least try to fight the lady, since Patch wants to defend Pain's leadership. Idk tho.

Patch smiled. "It's nice here, the land, I mean. The cats..? It depends, I only have two friends here." She sighed. She looked at herself, scars scattered all over her skin. She merely laughed at them. "I haven't thought much about my future as well except trying to be at least someone in this Clan's history."

Ember shrugged. "Eh. You don't need a lot of friends. You just need a few to have your back. At least, that's what I hear." She called Icy her friend... But really, they were allies. She enjoyed Icy's company, and they shared similar views due to their shared experiences in Deathclan... But she wasn't sure if she'd truly call them friends. Then she hummed. "Well, you stick around long enough... I'm sure Deathclan will eventually attack someone. That'll help get you remembered. Such trauma tends to burn your face into the memories of others."

The Deathclanner shrugged. "I... I don't really know about me and one of my friends. We haven't talked in a while and last time we did, it wasn't the prettiest of conversations. Still, what they say applies to me. I'm willing to fight anyone that messes with either of them." She hummed a little. How were Natalia and Pain doing anyways? "I'm surprised we didn't attack Iceclan during all this."

Ember hummed in response. "I'm surprised as well. You have Iceclan miserable and weak, the more experienced likely horribly homesick. It's an opportune time to attack and to remind the clans that we're still here. Still dangerous." There was a dangerous edge to her slight smile, that by all means seemed pleasant.

Patch blinked and her ears flicked. "I spent all that time spying there for nothing, I'm pretty sure Pain's not gonna even ask me for help because I'm too 'childish.'" She spat, tail flicking. Patch had made herself weak to Iceclan, she couldn't hurt anyone there. That being said, she was actually glad in this situation. Still, why haven't they left yet..? The ice is surely gone now.

Ember tilted her head. "You've been spying? Hm... Interesting." Then she eyed Patch carefully. "Personally, I wouldn't write off a source of assistance for any reason... But I would like to pose a question." She smiled pleasantly, though it seemed to be vicious despite it lacking in intensity. "Do you find yourself attached to the cats of Iceclan?"

Patch merely stared at Ember, a blank stare on her face. She blinked, and smiled. "For a bit, until Dove died. As for Iceclan, only one. He's long gone." Her smile shifted from casual to creepy. She was an actor, a decent one at that. Jude was right about her and lies. "The rest aren't as interesting as he was."

Ember thought about Patch's answer and how she should phrase her next question. "Ah. I see." She tilted her head. "If Deathclan chose to attack Iceclan, would you be able to kill along with the rest of us?" She questioned. She decided to ask about this... 'Dove' later.

Patch almost flinched back at Ember's next question, but she forced herself not to. "Maybe, but I don't really know. Being dead is kind of a reward since you don't have to live with all the drama and grief crap." She hummed, staring at the sky.

Ember tilted her head, seeing Patch's expression become strained. "Ah. I see. I suppose you've never killed before, so you don't quite know." She figured, though privately filing Patch as someone to keep an eye on, for future reference.

Patch smiled. "I've killed hawks, it's fun. But they actually deserve to die, ruthless creatures, I might say. They're kinda the reason I'm alive, but at the same time they're not. Confusing story, even for me." Her eyes flickered in amusement. "I've never killed an actual cat before,I've gotten close to doing so, but I don't recall."

Ember only smiled. "Hmph. It's not murder if you haven't killed a cat. You still have a certain type of innocence about you." She explained. "Even if you came close, there's something about killing someone that change you."
