Aloepaw/AndriIt was the middle of the night, moonhigh. Not that you would be able to tell easily, needing to rely on memory of past nights, what with the night sky being obscured by dark clouds. To boot, it was incredibly windy and snowy. It was a blizzard. Now, Fireclan tended to not get snowstorms too often, but this was a special night. It was a night where you would hardly be able to tell up from down, much less which was to go. Even a seasoned warrior might have trouble navigating this night. Amberflash deemed this a perfect night to take Aloepaw out of camp for the first time. It was five sunrises... Ish past when Aloepaw had his ceremony. She'd seen him here and there... His awful attitude being incredibly similar to Almondpaw's. Though, his attitude reminded her uncannily of a certain gross tom cat rather than her younger self, as Almondpaw did. As such, she felt some tough love was needed. Very tough love. Possibly vaguely murderous love. Which was why on this cold, miserable night, she went into the apprentice's den and started sharply jabbing him in the gut. Multiple times. Seven, actually. She resisted the urge to smile. It wouldn't due for her to appear to be a vindictive masochist, after all.

The first three stabs knocked the wind out of his lungs. The next two seemed to stab slivers through his stomach. The final three absolutely left Aloepaw trembling with the inability to breath, comprehend the situation, and scream plenty of curse words at his attacker. Everything hurt! What was going on?! Why was he being attacked?! Was it Brightpaw?! Or Willowpaw?! What the heck?!
His eyes rose, glaring menacingly at the body of his mentor. What. The. Heck. Was. Wrong. With. Her.
He wanted Amberflash to suddenly be engulfed in flames.
'Please be engulfed in flames.'
"W-what the h--" Aloepaw tried to catch his breath, wincing at the pains in his attacked abdomen. "Y-you-- maggot!" And he bared his fangs at her. "What the hell do you want?!"

((ISHOULDNT BE LAUGHING OMFG
Amberflash did not giggle. It simply was not a noise she was capable of. Quietly, and lightly snickering for a brief moment as she smirked as her grandson suddenly found himself with his breathing impaired. The list of expletives was impressive, though. It was hilarious.
She could tell that the kid really wanted to kill her.
Ha. The kid wasn't trained, so it'd be a joke. He was an apprentice, she a senior warrior. The gap in skill wasn't anything to sneeze at.
"It's training time." She announced. "Unless... You want to be an apprentice forever?" She suggested. Then without waiting for a response, she turned around and began moving out of the apprentice's den.
"Now, c'mon. I haven't got all day. Well, night. It's the middle of the night."

{ BUT LAUGHING THOUGH LMAO }
His gaze seemed to be burning holes into Amberflash's snickering form.
Aloepaw's teeth bit down on his lips, fighting back a loud snarl in the snoring apprentice's den, as Amberflash began to speak. Grr... he just wanted to rip her freaking fur out! "Took you twenty moons to finally get around to training me!" he snapped instead, standing up and pretending his wince of pain was really an excuse to make an angry face at Amberflash.
As he followed her outside, Aloepaw let out a wide yawn and annoyingly glared up at the dark sky and snowstorm. "Are you bat-dung crazy?! It's freezing out here, and probably the middle of the night! You're doing my first training session now?!" He howled, turning a snarl now to Amberflash.
'No one would care if she just HAPPENED to disappear out in this snowstorm, right?'

Amberflash rolled her eyes, though she wasn't sure if he saw it. "Don't be so dramatic. It's only been five sunrises." She sniffed. Jeez, this kid sounded entitled. Well, she'd beat it out of him. Not literally, but she wasn't going to be nice.
She looked over her shoulder. "Huh. And I thought you were tough enough to weather a little storm." She sniffed. "Now, c'mon. Unless you want to actually wait twenty moons for training, you'll come now." Not known to Aloepaw, she actually could sort of disappear in a snowstorm. Given her white pelt... It tended to create problems for keeping track of her. She began making tracks for out of camp, into the territory, making sure Aloepaw was actually following.
The little brat.

Aloepaw glared meanly at his mentor. "Tch, you're the one being dramatic. I don't want to train right now, so go find some hole to crawl in and leave me alone until morning. When normal cats take their apprentices out to train." he sneered.
As he turned to leave, her words caught his ears a moment later. He scowled, although she couldn't see it with his back turned. "Well, maybe I don't want to freeze to death out there! You've barely trained me!" he snapped back, irritated. Although with a deep sigh, he conceded, and followed Amberflash out of camp.
At least she was making tracks in the snow. But she still needed to combust into flames please.

Amberflash had heard Aloepaw's cruel remarks. However, she was placing herself above it all. She shrugged in response. The kid would come around eventually. He was stuck with her, considering the fact that she was his mentor and willing to train him.
And she was right. Ha! "You won't freeze to death. Trust me, your pelt is long enough. You might get a little cold, but you'll be fine." She insisted, leading Aloepaw out into the snowy territory, amongst the howling winds and blanket of snow being thrown every which way. The pawprints stayed long enough for Aloepaw to follow, but the tracks behind him were being covered up.
She led him quite a ways, into the heart of the territory where on his short little apprentice legs... It'd take a while to get anywhere really.

On his short little apprentice legs, Aloepaw was having trouble keeping up. He really didn't want to get lost in this weather. Plus, how was this training? There wasn't any prey out in this! Scenting the borders would be pointless! Battle training? Tch, more like wrestling with the snow drifts instead.
Aloepaw sniffled, "Can't we just train tomorrow? Why are we even out here?! What's the point of this?!"

Amberflash eventually stopped walking, and she rolled her eyes at her apprentice. "There is a point." She said. Alright. No turning back now. "I have to do more as your mentor than teach you the bare skills of a warrior. I have to make sure the apprentice I train will be beneficial for the clan, rather than a detriment. So far? All I see is a cat whose more willing to drag down his clanmates for his own personal gain and satisfaction." She sniffed. Then she leaped over Aloepaw and ran away, using the famous Fireclan speed to get away quickly. With the crazy snowstorm and her kicking up snow, her tracks would be nigh impossible to follow.
((Eh don't worry Aloe will be fine... Probably.))

Aloepaw almost bumped into Amberflash's stopped form, as he had been jumping inbetween tracks to keep up. He paused, expression very doubtful, as Amberflash said there was a point. And then his mentor began to ramble on, every word making his fur bristle-- and not from the cold.
"Excuse me?!" he started to snarl, only for his mentor to turn and clear over his head easily. Aloepaw let out a cry of alarm as her albino fur was gone in the snowstorm. "What--?! WAIT!! STOP!!!" he screamed, rushing off to chase her.
His eyes dropped to the snow tracks, trying to follow them. But the snow was already swarming around his small form, chilling his paws. Small dips were scattered about in the snow, but were those her fading pawsteps? What if that was just the snow hills? Aaah, they were gone now!!
He tried to run off in the same direction, but the snow was blinding. He winced against the wind, raising his voice to be heard. "AMBERFLASH!!!"

Amberflash was gone out of sight. The snowstorm actually didn't last too long after that, ending about 30 minutes later. She stayed away for about another 90 minutes, before she found Aloepaw easily enough, once the storm had stopped. The kid would be miserable, but unharmed.
The cloud cover remained, but at least now you could see... Sort of. Amberflash at the very least lacked problems. "Not so fun when you're on the receiving end of these sorts of things, huh?"

He was cold. And it seemed like a dream, or a living nightmare, when a body and familiar voice towered over his trembling body. Aloepaw was huddled under a heather bush, his little hut covered in snow. His nose was runny, and he sniffled and coughed, but still managed a furious glare at his mentor.
"I... I-I don't leave cats out to f-freeze to death." he hissed through chattering teeth. He only had the strength to say that much, at first.
He was going to murder her someday.
{ aaww, poor Aleo....

Amberflash tilted her head and moved to lay down next to Aloepaw. "Would you do that, given the chance? Or would you rather you hurt them yourself?" She asked. She sighed. "I've seen your sister. Almondfire. She seems to enjoy shedding blood herself. You that way?"

Aloepaw moved a bit away from Amberflash as if she were the plague. At her first words, he didn't respond. But when she mentioned Almondfire, his ears twitched in anger. "There's nothing wrong w-with my s-sister, if you're i-i-implying that!" he snapped, giving his mentor a cruel look. "And-- and who c-cares if that's how I-I am or not?! T-that shouldn't matter t-t-to someone as u-uncaring as y-you for a mentor!"

Amberflash sighed, annoyed. "Your sister is going to get herself exiled at this rate. We are Fireclan, not Deathclan rogues." She told him firmly. "I care. If I sit by while you head down this path you seem so dedicated to... Then I'd say I'm a pretty lousy excuse for family." She sighed. "Hazelclaw is my son. Honestly, I don't approve of how he's dealt with you. I've hardly ever seen him talk to you or any of your siblings."
((She does care it's just.... she's bad at showing it sometimes
