Almondfire ((BTW I don't know if you know this, but Brightpaw does NOT sleep in camp. She never has. So she doesn't have a nest in camp. so uhh... yeah RP with that in mind))Brightpaw was curled on a nice rock that was thankfully somewhat flat on the surface. It helped her keep her paws out of the snow. It'd be nice if the sunlight was actually warm, rather than blindingly bright. The way it reflected off the snow, made the ground light up like the sun. Which was really pretty admittedly, but also kind of hurt to look at it.
She hoped to be left alone, unless it was Mudpaw. She was pretty sure Eveningwhisper there were adders around here, but she hadn't seen any. The warning would hopefully keep others away.
Her ears twitched in annoyance as she watched someone approach. Seems that hope was a false one. She gave no indication to show interest in the approach of her sister.

Almondpaw had decided to go hunting.
Not for her clanmates but for herself since she didn't believe that weaklings should get extra prey. She hadn't caught anything yet since she hadn't really been out for that long. The pale tabby tasted the air, trying to scent prey. Instead of prey a different scent entered her nostrils.
'Brightpaw.'
She rarely saw her sister, ever since they became apprentices. The last time they had met was when her father's sister had visited which was a while ago. Almondpaw smirked. 'Get ready Brightpaw, your not gonna have a good day.'
"Well well well, if it isn't my crybaby sister, Brightpaw."
(Hope this is ok)

Brightpaw ignored Almondpaw. Maybe if she ignored her she would go away, and let Brightpaw have her freaking peace and serenity, Cloudclan darn it! If not, well... She was low-key sort of mad about the tail thing when they were kits.
She wasn't a crybaby. She wondered if Almondpaw could actually take it like she could dish out. Tch.
It'd be pretty lame and stupid if she couldn't.
Regardless, her day would've been better off if Almondpaw hadn't shown up at all. She really liked having her time 'family'-free. She didn't like her family. Well... Willowpaw was okay, she'd proven herself decent. The rest of them? They can all go to Hell and burn for all she cared.

Almondpaw's tail twitched.
She wouldn't even notice her. 'What a scardy-cat, afraid that I'll ruin her tail.' She thought before unsheathing her claws. If Brightpaw wouldn't react by speaking, she'd have to start a fight.
As quick as a snake, Almondpaw attempted to lash out on her sister's face, hoping to anger her a little or have her go crying. The only thing the tabby didn't know was that Brightpaw might have changed a bit over time.
(Hey, do you know who the current leaders of the clans are. I came on seeing that there is several cats with 'star' on the end of their names)

((Well.... The previous leaders all sort of left VWW and with permission from above the deputies just sort of promoted themselves so we now have leaders that will be around.
Brightpaw knew Almondpaw was approaching with unsheathed claws. Her sister clearly had the arrogant opinion that she hadn't been noticed. Every single time her sister was given the chance to show mercy... She never took it.
Moron.
Almondpaw might've been fast, but Brightpaw was faster. Her eyes shot open and she swiftly rolled off the rock, onto the side opposite from Almondpaw. She landed neatly on her paws, and stood up proud and tall. She narrowed her eyes.
"You haven't changed. Not at all." She noted in an icy tone of voice.

Almondpaw growled, kinda annoyed. She should have seen that coming.
"Coward, you didn't even defend yourself. What kind of a warrior are you." She exclaimed a before twitching her ears. "Let's see what kind of kit battle moves you have. Come at me if you dare." The spotted tabby flattened her ears and bared her teeth, her tail lashing.
Almondpaw eyes were narrowed into slits. "Do you even know how to fight weakling."

Brightpaw didn't respond, her steely gaze not changing in the slightest. Her ear flicked. It was clear Almondpaw was getting annoyed.
Good.
"I think you need a better dictionary." She commented. She tilted her head. "And, why would I fall for your incredibly obvious taunts? Seriously, you could use a lesson in the art of subtlety." She liked seeing Almondpaw be the frustrated one for once.
She scoffed. "Of course I know how to fight, who do you take me for?" Suddenly there was a smug grin on her face. "I'd say you don't know how to do anything, but fight. Kind of useless, don't you think? Just being a weapon?"

Almondpaw narrowed her eyes. She knew how to do things. She wasn't stupid. She was not gonna protest like a kitten.
"Get on with the fight already, you bore me to death." The she-cat growled before twitching her tail. Brightpaw probably didn't know how to fight, she was a weakling like the rest of her siblings except Aloekit. Aloekit wasn't weak, he was better than Brightpaw.
Almondpaw then all of a sudden leaned forward to attempt to clamp her teeth onto her sister's tail, trying to sink them deep.

Brightpaw rolled her eyes. "Really. That's really dumb, you can't even entertain yourself! You need a victim to have fun. Shame." She smiled pleasantly at Almondpaw, even as the other she-cat's frustration grew.
As for Almondpaw's next move, Brightpaw had seen it coming. Besides, it was pretty obvious. Rip open old scars and all that. She swiftly pulled her tail out of the way, and moved her body so she was facing Almondpaw. Before, her side had been facing Almondpaw.

Almondpaw growled.
"Who needs fun when you can watch others cry in pain and go wailing to their mothers. Now thats what I call 'fun'"
The spotted tabby was about to hiss in frustration but then she realized something. 'She's doing this on purpose. Stay calm!' Almondpaw then slipped under her, attempting to rake her belly with thorn sharp claws.

Brightpaw purred. "Wow, what a sad and lonely existence you must lead. How... Pathetic."
Really, was Almondpaw trying to be subtle at all? She'd seen the dive, and rolled to the side again, once more landing neatly on her paws. "You could try not using the grace of a bumbling badger on two and a half legs." She suggested, amusement in her voice. Brightpaw was feeling particularly proud of her decision to practice evasion tactics. It was clearly frustrating to her sister, which made it all worth it.

"Your such a coward, you won't even defend yourself."
Almondpaw growled.
"Do you really think that you could win a battle agansn't me, think again because your not leaving without a few scars."
She laughed. Brightpaw probably didn't want to fight. 'Only kittypets turn away from a fight.'

Brightpaw sniffed. "I am defending myself. I'm keeping myself from harm, which constitutes as defending myself. You really need a better dictionary." She commented.
She cocked a fictional eyebrow. "Uh, from what I've been told... You don't practice. You laze about in camp, doing nothing when you're not out with your mentor. I'm pretty sure the prey shortage given that it's Leaf-bare is the only thing keeping you from turning into a furry beach ball."

Almondpaw narrowed her eyes.
"I actually don't hide from my clanmates like you and I actually hunt for them. Anyways how would you know, your never in camp unless you have some mousebrained spies."
She growled, twitching her tail. Brightpaw wasn't going to attack.
"My mentor actually trained me unlike yours. I practice my moves unlike you who hides all day, hoping not to be seen."

Brightpaw shrugged. "Eh. Willowpaw told me." She tilted her head. "Gee, I wonder why I would avoid camp." She commented sarcastically. She purred in amusement.
"Wow, you really love to make assumptions, don't you?" She began snaking around Almondpaw in a wide circle. "If I'm never around, how exactly do you know what I do all day? If my mentor trained me?" She tilted her head. "Besides, you really suck at reading intentions, unlike me. I know you're frustrated, I know you want to cause me pain. You're actually pretty simple, really. You get mad easily when things don't go your way. You're not nearly as giddy as you were when we were kits and you partially skinned the end of my tail."
"You've got anger issues and no intent or way to control it."
