Almondfire
Willowpaw was planning on doing some more battle training, even when she wasn't with her mentor, she always needed to be sharpening her skills. The training hollow usually had some apprentices that she could spar with, but that was starting to get boring since Willowpaw knew all of their tactics so well. She dreamed of coming across a dog or badger, that would give her a real challenge, instead of her measly fellow apprentices, who were so predictable it made her blood boil.
The silver tabby stopped dead in her tracks as she came to a clearing, spotting another cat, one that she hadn't seen in quite a while. A chill of excitement ran through Willowpaw, and she took a deep breath, her eyes shining and claws already unsheathed at the sight of her violent and cruel sibling.
"Almondpaw." She mewed curtly, padding closer and stopping a fox-length away.

Brightpaw had been right about one thing.
Almondpaw didn't practice that much so she had decided it was time to sharpen her fighting skills. After she was a warrior, she couldn't wait to sink her claws into Brightpaw's neck and have blood pool around her claws. She smirked and then started practicing her battle moves in the training hollow.
Then a scent entered her nostrils and the cruel she-cat turned around to see a silvery tabby.
Willowpaw.
"Willow-whine."

"You remembered me. I'm flattered Almondpaw, truly." Willowpaw spoke in a deadbeat tone, her expression only showing complete and utter loathing. She walked back and forth, keeping her distance from Almondpaw so that if her sister decided to attack, she would have enough time to react.
"What's a kitty like you doing out here? You aren't practicing, are you? Certainly you don't think that a cat like you could ever actually amount to anything?" The silver tabby mocked calmly, her tail twitching slightly. She was confident, but she wasn't underestimating Almondpaw, either- Willowpaw was certain that even if Almondpaw wasn't as skilled, or physically strong as Willowpaw from training so much, she would still put up a fight.

Almondpaw narrowed her eyes.
"Your just like Brightpaw, trying to make me annoyed. Sorry you got to try better than that weakling." She growled. "As for training your mentor probably doesn't care for a whiny kitten like you and for your information I practice unlike you. You haven't changed at all Willow-whine."
The spotted tabby noticed that Willowpaw was kept in her distance. She couldn't attack just yet.

"All I've done since being apprenticed is practice. And my mentor has trained me. Don't make assumptions, Almondpaw, they just make you look stupid." Willowpaw retorted calmly, her eyes narrowed. She still kept her distance, every muscle tensed in case she had to attack or defend. "You look pretty annoyed to me. Where's Aloekit, huh? Did your only friend stop wanting you around?"

Almondpaw growled.
You mean Aloepaw and he's still around. I have plenty of other friends around besides Aloepaw. Anyways who cares about friends, they are stupid and mousebrained."
She was lying about Aloekit still around and that he was an apprentice. She had not seen him for a while but Willowpaw didn't need to know.

A smirk crept onto Willowpaw's face as she continued to walk back and forth, allowing herself to get slightly closer to Almondpaw. "Yeah? Then why are you never with him, huh?" She taunted coolly. "Face it. He doesn't like you anymore. No one does." Willowpaw flicked her tail.

Almondpaw rolled her eyes.
"Nobody likes you either. You take offence too quickly and then you start whining like a kit, Willow-whine." She retorted

Willowpaw shrugged. "The only reason that cats don't like me is because you go around talking dirt. Well, I won't have to worry about that for much longer." She allowed herself to smile slightly, her claws unsheathed.

Almondpaw narrowed her eyes.
"You think you can kill me." She gave a laugh. "How mousebrained are you!" Almondpaw unsheathed her claws and smirked

"Yes, of course I can." Willowpaw blinked, stating matter-of-factly. "But maybe I won't. Maybe I'll just maim you, make it so you have to be taken care of for the rest of your life."

Almondpaw narrowed her eyes.
"I doubt that will happen anyways. Your just like when you were a kit. Trying to prove yourself to me. Better give up now because I'll never treat you like anything more than a whiny kit."

Willowpaw rolled her eyes. Why couldn't Almondpaw see that she was doing this for justice, not validation? "That's fine. I don't need your approval, Almondpaw. You're worthless, you'll never mean anything to anyone. Not even Aloekit."

Almondpaw's tail twitched.
"Why would I care. You shouldn't care either, You hold grudges for way too long."

"I don't have any reason to forgive you." Willowpaw narrowed her eyes, looking at her litter-mate with utter loathing. "Why would I not hate you?"
