"Hmm." Willowpaw thought about what Cloudskip said. "Well, they have ears, even if I've never seen them.. They probably have a nose as well."
She shifted her paws impatiently. "Can I try to hunt something else?"

Cloudskip nodded, ears twitching. "Good point, and yeah. Rabbits are common here, so we might as well search for one." She glanced around and opened her jaws to yawn. "But if you would like, you can hunt other prey."

"I'll hunt whatever I find." Willowpaw nodded and scented the air again, trying to locate more prey. She had to travel quite a bit before locating a rabbit, which blended in to the snowy ground.
She took in a deep breath and dropped into a crouch, slowly stalking forward. Once she was within jumping distance, Willowpaw leaped, pinning the rabbit and killing it neatly.

Cloudskip narrowed her eyes at the apprentice, watching them dart off. The warrior started to follow, but lost sight of Willowpaw and decided to stop. Cloudskip took a deep breath to scent the air, she caught the slightly familiar scent of the apprentice and followed it.
She stopped to see Willowpaw with a nicely killed rabbit, Cloudskip smiled. "Good job, kid!"

Willowpaw felt a rush of relief, glad that she actually managed to catch something. "Thanks." She breathed, turning to look at Cloudskip. "Do you want to do more hunting? Or maybe we should work on fighting, next." Since it was leaf-bare, finding even more prey would be next to impossible.
