Swanfrost Jaguarkit wandered around the nursery looking for something to do when he spotted Swankit. Perfect. He flicked his tail and grinned mischievously, strutting over there to her. "Hey, Princess. How's it going?" He asked, wondering if she'd think of what their conversation the other time they met was like. This might get a little interesting after all. Jay stopped in front of her, raising his eyebrows with an amused look and curious feeling.

Swankit was stretched out in her nest, counting the seconds that went by. How dreadfully boring life was. Apprenticeship couldn't seem further away. Her eyes were closed, though her ears perked up at the sound of Jaguarkit. Great. She peaked open her eyes, scowling up at him. "Princess? And I thought you were more original then that." Swankit rolled onto her paws, not that it helped much. He may not be as old as she was, but he still managed to be bigger. Most kits were, she was a runt, after all. "I was trying to sleep, though I see that must have gone right over that stupid brain of yours."

"You thought I was more original? Sorry to ruffle your fur there. "Well well well, now that isn't all nice now is it? Not very lady like." He said, wondering if he'd get a rise out of her. It seemed to have worked as far as calling her Princess but he didn't know how she'd continue to react. He wasn't all that bad, just didn't know what he should and shouldn't say which was all to natural for him to say that he didn't necessarily care. He was just a kit, what need is there to behave?

"Lady like? I'll show you lady like." She mumbled the last part to herself, growling in annoyance. This tom certainly challenged her, so she supposed she didn't mind him too much. He didn't need to know that, though. "Do you really have nothing else to do then bother me? Such a sad little kitty." She pouted fakely, circling him with a grin. Her tail slid underneath his chin, inspecting him before she slapped his muzzle with it. She sat back down in front of him, eyebrows raised to see what he would do next.

"If I'm so sad then why bother listening to me in the first place? There's not exactly a lot to do around here anyway, surely you know that." He felt her tail under his chin and when she slapped his muzzle with it he looked over at her with a look as if to say 'was that really necessary?' He thought for a moment before saying, "Surely you'd know all about being a sad little kitty. It takes one to know one. Not exactly the best thing in the world is it?" He was adopted, had no siblings, no knowledge of life outside the clan but at the same time he was proud to be a FireClanner and nothing would get in the way of that.

"Its called pity." She snapped. Swankit grinned as he gave her 'the look', her eyes wide as she stared back at him with fake innocence. She grimaced at his next statement, noting just how right he was. "You do realize you just admitted to being a sad little kitty, right? And I'm not, thank you very much." She easily lied, flexing her claws in front of her face in 'boredom'.

Jaguarkit shook his head. Not feeling very threatened by the little she cat. "I suppose I did. And I'm not so sure about that. Might want to put those claws away, don't want anyone to get hurt." He doubted she would pull anything. Why pull something with a larger cat? Especially one that wasn't happy about being threatened, however faint the threat may actually appear to be.

Swankit raised a brow, unamused. "I'm not going to claw you, if that's what your thinking." She snickered, glad he at least took her seriously. She didn't mean it to seem threatening, but she would go with it. "I'm perfectly content, but your concern is appreciated." She flashed him a fake smile.

He shook his head. "I'm glad. Besides if we fought now without any training it'd be probably nothing more than adorable. Probably challenge you to a duel once you reach apprentice age. It's not fair without the same amount of training though. That I actually value. Fairness. Probably not what you were expecting," Jaguarkit said with a raise of a cat eyebrow.

"I am apprentice age, I'm just waiting on my ceremony." Swankit huffed, feeling slightly offended. "Fairness, huh? Definitely didn't see that coming. This is why Jay doesn't suit you. You're, in a weird way, too nice." She put her paw down, sheathing her claws. She didn't like how serious he suddenly got, he was no fun then.

Jaguarkit snorted. "Well whoops. Couldn't quite tell. Aren't you a bit small for your age? And how the devil am I too nice?" He rolled his eyes and sat down. Too nice. Puh. What would she know anything about being too nice. He felt angry that he didn't fit his name and it was unsettling. She had gotten to him and he wasn't too sure what to feel about that.

Swankit grimaced as he mentioned her small stature, her eyes growing cold. "I'm not that small, alright? You're just big." She looked at him with distaste, blowing out air through her nose. "How are you not too nice? You're all talk and no bite. Jay is a stupid name anyway, so you should be happy you don't suit it."

Jaguarkit was almost amused at her comment on his size. "I thought the wittle kitty didn't want to get hurt. Besides. I want to be made an apprentice on time and for there not to be a bad word on me to my future mentor. I don't want to wind up with someone a bit on the odd side and very bossy. Plus I would rather that they treated me like an adult versus some pathetic little kit." He wanted anything but to be looked down on.

She looked up as he talked about his specific things he didn't want in a mentor, rolling her eyes. "You are a pathetic little kit, so you might as well get used to it."

He gave a little bit of a growl. "At least I don't look like one. Scrawny, with a poor excuse for a pelt. Look more like a hairless cat." Jaguarkit shook his head. "At least I will be able to grow out of being a pathetic little kit," he said with his voice deepening. She busted his hump and he wasn't pleased by it.
