Swanpaw was confused by his response. Was she right, or was he just open to anything? Was there even a right answer to begin with? She shrugged it off, surprised as he moved at a faster pace. She forced herself to keep up, though next to the larger male she was speed walking, almost jogging. She didn't mind at first, though as they continued she slowed down whether he wanted her to or not.

Stormfrost noticed it was a bit difficult on Swanpaw so he slowed down some. "You okay? I'll slow down a little bit. Good news though, we're making good time." He enjoyed the trip to RockClan. It was at times downhill and when he was younger it was entertaining to run through it but he figured that she wasn't in the mood for that due to her being a little tired looking to begin with. "Well I suppose I could say a few things about RockClan on the way so we don't have to stay there too long and have more time learning some battle moves later." He kept walking towards the next border as he continued to move. "Okay so Cloverstar and Flamepath are leader and deputy of RockClan."
(okay I don't know what I did but I guess Fallenstar is leader of IceClan. I thought he was of RockClan but I guess not. I'm kind of confused with the other clans....)

(All good, last I checked it was Robinstar and Sunfish so don't feel bad)
"Good time? It feels like we've been out here for moons." Swanpaw yet again complained about something, her tail drooping tiredly. Already she could feel the burn in her undeveloped muscles. She was atleast glad they were going down hill, though she hoped they wouldn't have to come back up it anytime soon. "Cloverstar and Flamepath. Those names are stupid." Swanpaw mumbled to herself, hoping he hadn't caught the last part. She had to repeat the information given to her, otherwise she would never remember it all.

Stormfrost stopped at the RockClan border and looked over at Swanpaw with a snort. "Oh really? I don't know why anyone needs to question their names. Everyone is unique. And yes it does take a while. We have only one clan left after this than we can start battle practice. Mark the border if you care to, I will myself. And then we can move onto the next clan." He marked a border marker and started padding towards the next clan when he thought she was ready to go.

"Jeez, I didn't realize I had offended your great ancestors by calling it how it is." Swanpaw grumbled, moving to sniff at the border. She recoiled at the gross scent. "They even smell bad." She huffed, not bothering to try and mark one of the borders as he had told her she could. Instead, she padded after him at a slightly faster pace than before, a new energy found at the mention of seeing the last clan.

He gave a light roll of his eyes and shook his head. She cats... Why must they all be so sassy? He knew he had two grand daughters or great grand daughters that were sassy as can be. One of them just became a warrior. Stormfrost gave up the thought and merely agreed with her. "Yeah they smell. We probably smell bad to them too." He kept trotting along to TreeClan, the last of the neighboring clans.

Swanpaw hesitated at the thought of herself smelling bad to others, shrugging it off. The scent began to change into yet another new one as they neared TreeClan's border, the trees growing denser. Once they arrived she waited impatiently for him to give her the same information for the clan, her claws digging into the ground, as if she was going to propel herself forward at any given moment.

"So for TreeClan there's Arrowstar and Crystalbird." He remembered something that seemed to pain him as he looked longingly over the border. His family. Would she even remember him if they even ran into each other. Still miss you... He shrugged it off and gave a little grumble under his breath about something. Kind of sounded like gibberish. Stormfrost decided to try and change his attention to Swanpaw and say, "Well, after this we can head back towards our clan where the training area is." He began walking, not wanting to really mention anything about what he just felt.

Swanpaw was about to repeat the names to herself when she noticed his expression change. She had never seen someone look so.... What was it? Sad? Miserable? Lost? No, none of those sounded right. Maybe a little bit of all of them, but there was something else... She decided to let it go, but she was careful to remember it. "Okay, but.... You wont like, hurt me right?" Swanpaw tilted her head, eyeing him. She didn't know how battle training worked, but obviously he would win every fight. Was it the goal to wound each other? She wasn't sure.

Stormfrost shrugged it off and shook out his pelt trying to get rid of the feeling and was grateful that Swanpaw began speaking again. "No, no, no. It'd be better if that didn't happen. I'll show you a few moves and see how well you can repeat them. When we practice we should keep our claws sheathed regardless." He kept walking towards the training area. "Does that sound all right?" He asked.
As they got closer to the training area he watched as the empty space was coming closer into view. He was glad that they were the of of the only ones there. Nothing makes practice complicated like having several apprentices running into each other while trying to use newly learned information.

"Perfectly fine with me." She gave her head a firm nod, staying a good pace beside him. She had a feeling she would suck at battle training, she hadn't even play fought as a kid. She just didn't find it very appealing. She quickly grew nervous as they arrived at the training area. Would he want to switch apprentices once her realized how bad she was? She didn't want to find out.
She moved ahead of him, backing up a few paces so she could stand in front of him. She assumed that's where he would want her to be, at least.

He padded into the training area and the flood of old memories ran to his brain. They swarmed him, vividly. He walked to the spot where Swanpaw seemed to think he was going to be which actually worked out well for him. "Okay, so we can begin. First off, there are more vulnerable parts of a cat such as throat and stomach. Get a cat badly around those two areas and the fight will surely be your's." If they're not some super-cat... "So those are two areas where you should think about attacking. Since we're training I want claws sheathed at all times but I want you to try and fight me okay? I'll take it easy on you since it's your first time. Just take what I told you and run with it. You are smaller so use that to your advantage too." And with that he took a few strides backwards before trotting towards her as if it were a little battle about to go underway.

Swanpaw blinked, most of the information going over her head. She stared in surprise as he backed up, then moved towards her. He seriously expected her to fight him? She took a few steps back, muzzle scrunched into a scowl. He barely gave her any information! She stayed glued to her spot, eyeing him in annoyance. She then trotted towards him, though quickly moved back. Any attack she tried to place on him would easily be overpowered. Moving forward with more confidence she slammed her two paws down on his own front ones. Although it would be easier to keep them down with her claws out, that wasn't allowed. She quickly reached up, aiming to clamp her jaws around his throat.

Stormfrost thought it was kind of amusing that she stepped on his paws. It's not like they were learning how to dance. He was surprised, however, when she reached up for his throat and actually managed to get it. The old tom yelped in surprise and began shaking, attempting to shake her off. "Oi oi oi! Not quite what I had expected!" He started slapping the ground with all four paws on the ground it looked remotely like a child that hadn't gotten their way. Somehow, Stormfrost was amused by all of this though have. "A whoosh!" He yelled, making his own sound affects for swinging the other cat around. She hadn't wounded him but it was his only way to try to get her off. In a battle, this would be quite the scene... He believed in humor for training, it would help the trainees remember it better sometimes.

Swanpaw bit down on him, though she was careful not to really hurt him. When he began bouncing around like a complete idiot she bit down harder to stay on. At all his strange comments and sounds she couldn't help but laugh, which loosened her jaw enough for her to fly off. She continued laughing as she rolled lightly onto the ground, slowly picking herself up. She manage to shake her fit of giggles away, smiling widely in amusement. "Oh come on, that's so cheating!" She huffed, though her grin remained on her face. "Making me laugh is not exactly the way to train me." While she was saying this she took small steps forward, hoping he wouldn't notice. She opened her mouth as if to speak again when suddenly she lunged, aiming to wrap her arms around his neck in a deathly hug of sorts. She still thought like a kit, so any serious battle moves wouldn't come out of her naturally.
