He was glad he made her laugh and was actually surprise that he managed to do that in the first place. Stormfrost puffed out his chest and lifted his head which probably wasn't the best for this training situation as he will find out. "There's no such thing as cheating when it comes to battle... it's just taking advantage of the situation and doing the best with what you've got!" Stormfrost was stopped when Swanpaw launched up for a bear hug. His first thought was aw ain't that adorable but then he realized she was fighting. If she was a bit bigger and used teeth and claws he wouldn't be fooled but he was happy she refrained from that for obvious reasons.
He decided to instead roll over, falling on the ground. In all honesty he probably would if she was an enemy warrior and he wasn't fighting back. With his stomach exposed it was a very vulnerable move.

(Slightly confused about the roll so sorry if I misunderstood)
Swanpaw was surprised when he fell to the ground, her paws letting go of his neck. She quickly jumped back into action as his stomach was exposed. He had said that was a weak spot, didn't he? She backed up, jumping right onto it with all four paws. Hopefully the force would be enough to knock the wind out of him, that way she could try to pin him down while he was more vulnerable.

Stormfrost gave an old man cough as he felt a bit weaker with the apprentice jumping on his stomach. He wound up pinned to the ground by his apprentice and didn't feel like he would be able to get up easily without her choice. Needless to say he was impressed. "Well done, Swanpaw!" He yelled and then paused a few moments. "You can let me up now if you don't mind?" Stormfrost wondered how much else she wanted to do today as far as battle. "Well... looks as if we are almost ready to finish up for today. You've done a lot. Tomorrow if you want we can go over a few more things. Or start with hunting if you'd like?"
(No problem)

Swanpaw beamed at the praise, puffing out her chest. In all her pride she had forgotten to let him up, quickly jumping off with a sheepish smile. "Either works for me." She answered at his question. Fighting was fun, and easier than she thought it would be, but hunting was new and exciting. She suddenly realized just how exhausted she was, and just how heavy her paws felt. "It wasn't so hard to beat you, but I guess that's what happens when you get old." She smirked, flicking her tail lightly. She knew he had gone extremely easy on her, as he only played defense. That didn't mean she couldn't tease him though. She began heading back in the direction she remembered as camp, knowing it was close by.

Stormfrost seemed to be stunned by her words. Old? He hoped she meant that only in a joking matter and he walked towards camp with her, hoping she wouldn't get lost. "So hunting tomorrow then." He kept padding towards camp. The thought of old kept crawling back towards him though he must admit that little display he did with the bounding around was a bit tiring. He didn't get as much exercise as he had hoped for.
(I will create a different thread for hunting)
