Aloepaw/AndriAmberflash had been rebuked by Aloepaw for about a month. She was understandably annoyed by being rejected by her own annoying apprentice. Still... She listened to him. He could use a lesson or two in respect and actually listening to others.... He probably wouldn't follow her example, but hey. It's worth a shot. Today was yet another day where she would try to get the kid out for some training. She walked into the apprentice's den and smelled... Blood. Her eyes narrowed and she made her way over to Aloepaw. Her tail lashed angrily behind him. Her grandson might be a real piece of work, but he was still family. Amberflash always had a temper, even if it tended to be quieter nowadays. " Who did this?" She hissed softly.

Aloepaw was taking a nap in his nest. Though, at the scent of Amberflash, instantly his mood took a fatal dive. "Who did what?" he mocked, shooting his grandmother a furious look that just bled with malice.

Amberflash gave Aloepaw an unimpressed look. "You're literally bleeding." She pointed out.
((.... Actually this probably wouldn't end in training. She'd literally drag him to Honeyfur's because she's like "IM NOT TRAINING YOU WHILE YOU'RE BLEEDING >:())

Aloepaw returned the unimpressed stare. "Yeah. And?" he snarled with a warning growl in his throat. "That's how my family is. If you don't know how to fight, you're going to get yourself killed. I almost got murdered the other day, and look, still no battle training!"
He stood up with a wince from his wounds. "I need you to actually train me. In how to defend myself, and how to beat up the other cat." he ordered grimly, suddenly looking more stern than angry.
{ except little angry cinnamon bun here is going to very much refuse anything that isn't battle training... xD

Amberflash flattened her ears. "I will train you. But first, you need to not bleed out in the middle of training!" She hissed. "At least come with me to Honeyfur's to get something to stop the bleeding, and I'll teach you to fight how kick someone's deserving butt, alright?"
She was reasonably sure this kid wouldn't listen unless she bartered. She was hesitant to unleash such an angry kid with training... But if his family wasn't being... Family... She didn't want him to get killed, no matter how much of a little terror he was.
((... Looks like Amber is going to be more amenable to teaching him to fight after all))

Aloepaw seemed about to object, his mouth open and words just on the tip of his tongue. But then Amberflash's words started to make sense to him. And slowly, his jaws closed, and Aloepaw's glare seemed to soften just the slightest. "...Whatever. But you better hold your end of the deal." he growled warningly.
{ oh wow... I can kind of see Aloe making a bit of progress, too, in finding Amberflash less... mmm... well, I feel like he's slowly hating her less and less with each meeting.. }

((Hmm... Is Aloe bad through and through? Because Almond apparently has her doubts, but is too prideful to admit them... Especially with Aloe supporting her in being a sociopath.
Amberflash sighed. "I'm not a liar. Some might say I don't know how to hold my tongue. Alright then, let's go now. Sooner we get you in and out of the medicine den, sooner you can learn to fight, yeah?"

{ mmm, well... I think deep down, Aleo has always been... caring. He never shows it, and really denies it, but he... does care for cats-- like Brightpaw and Willowpaw. Well, not so much Willow anymore, but... whenever I would rp him, I always felt like a part of him was good, but his way of showing it was just in not saying something cruel every few seconds, or making a comment that's mean but not so mean. He likes who he is. And he does love to bully and manipulate and watch cats suffer, and does carry a lot of hate for almost everyone. Yet... he also cares about his friends and family, sliiightly. }
Aloepaw scoffed, "Whatever." he growled.

Huh... So.... Really... Really... Deep down, he sort of cares about Bright, despite being a little ball of hate and anger? Huh. Interesting... And tbh I never noticed, though he only cared for Almond. Interesting.... Also brings up an interesting point. I wonder what it'd be like... If something pushed Bright to stop caring, hm? I mean, really stop caring. Enough to stop caring about what she believed was right. Interesting, thought... Eh? The end result should be something like... Y'know, my other accounts Natalia and Crystalbird. Funny thing is... Those two, I only RPed them after the fact. Bright? She's not there. Yet. Never. Who knows, honestly.))

Summarized; Aloe cared more as a kid, doesn't as much anymore, will probably never act and always deny he cares about his family, etc. It'd be sad for Brightpaw to lose her emotions like that, etc.

((Well, not lose her emotions. No one just loses their emotions like that... She'd probably repress so badly that loses sight of her empathy and probably starts coming off vaguely... Sociopathic, I guess. But so far, it doesn't seem like it's going to go that way. The one thing that would probably give any sort of substantial progress towards that path, would be Mudpaw's death or him turning his back on her. The latter seems unlikely, so if Mudpaw dies then Brightpaw would be severely messed up. But I doubt CC will kill of Mudpaw, so we're good!!
Also I feel sad for Aloe... I know he's good with how he is but... Idk still seems... Lonely and not very fulfilling existence.))
A great amount of time later...
Amberflash sighed as she waited right outside the medicine den for Aloepaw to hopefully emerge with... Something to stop the bleeding and make sure he wasn't infected. Honestly, she didn't know much about medicine and she wasn't really paying attention to the times in the past she'd gone in... So she wasn't sure what sort of weird plant things would be stuck onto her apprentice.
