Firepaw huffed her way back to camp after fighting with her mentor. 'Whew! That was a tough day!' she thought. She stopped, and collapsed to the ground fainting.
About 10 minutes later, someone was nudging her. Firepaw strained her eyes open and saw another cat looking down at her. "Who, who are y-you?" she stammered, her eyes blinking rapidly.

Shiningflame nudged an apprentice who had fallen over apparently. "Takin' a rest?" she asked. "I'm Shiningflame, What's you name?" she smiled when the other kit asked. "There are nicer places out here to collapse," she added.

Firepaw looked up at who nudged her. 'Shiningflame huh?' she thought, feeling dizzy. "Oh hi Shiningflame! I'm Firepaw, and I'm ready to become a warrior!" she said, lifting her head confidently. She looked at the warrior. 'Wow... she looks pretty!' she thought, hearts flooding her brain. She dazed for a moment, then blurted out, "You look pretty!" Firepaw knew she said something stupid, and blushed.

Shiningflame chuckled. "Well thankyou... I guess," she responded a bit aquardly. "You're reay to become a warrior? So who's your mentor?"

Firepaw nodded. "My mentor? Moonfur is my mentor." she replied, "She's the best cat in the world!" She looked at Shiningflame. "Do you mentor anyone?" she asked. |

Firepaw tiltled her head to the side. 'Hazelclaw?' she thought. "Oh, Hazelclaw! I know him!" she shouted. She was about to run back to camp, when her tummy growled. 'I'm hungry...' she thought, not feeling good. "Hey, wanna hunt together?" she asked, as she started to scent the air for prey.

Firepaw thought for a moment, thinking about what to hunt. "Mouse or Rabbit?" she suggested.

Shiningflame sniffed the air. "Rabbit is nearby. That would probably be easiest." she responded. "let's go after that."

Firepaw nodded. She scented rabbit and followed the scent. She crouched down and stayed hidden in the thick layered undergrowth. She leaped towards the rabbit. She missed, but chased after it and caught it in her own paws. She gave it a bite to end it's life, and thank Cloudclan for it's life. She came back running to Shiningflame. "I, caught, *GASP* the rabbit!" she panted.

Shiningflame had also run off and caught a seperate rabbit. "Good job," she said with a smile, considering what to do next. "So, who are your parents?"

Firepaw blinked. 'My parents?' she thought. "My mother is Rainlight and my dad is..." She paused for a moment, "I don't know who my father is... Who are your parents?"

Shiningflame nodded. "Rainlight is my mom too. I don't know my father too," she said with a smile. "So you're my sister then?

Firepaw shook her head. "Nah, probably not. We don't even know who our fathers are!" she said, ripping a fleshy piece of rabbit, and chewing it happily. "Are you going to eat you rabbit?" she asked, pointing to the rabbit Shiningflame caught.
